Peirce School Dedication
On Sunday, March 2, 2003 an Open House and Dedication Ceremony was held for the new Peirce School.

Dr. Flaherty, teachers, and staff greeted community and school members past and present as they marveled over our new and wonderful facility.

Part of the day included the dedication and naming of the circular drive in front of the school. Devine Way is named in honor of former superintendent Walter Devine whose belief in the neighborhood school concept helped to make the new Peirce School a reality.
The opening of the new Peirce took incredible work and effort on the part of Dr. Flaherty, teachers, staff, parents and children - moving during December holidays was no easy feat!!
But as the children say, "It was all worth it!"

We thank Superintendent Kay Donovan and all of the Arlington community for their many efforts in the "Rebuild Our Schools" campaign. We LOVE our new school!

Drummey, Roseane & Anderson received a prestigious award for Peirce School.
