March Highlights

Shoebox Science Fair
Peirce/Brackett Shoebox Science Fair
Saturday, March 16, 2002
2-5 P.M.
Brackett School

Share in your childs sense of curiosity and joy of discovery! This event will allow families to present a math or science concept with an experiment that can fit in a shoebox. Eventually these will become kits that may be borrowed.

If you would like to participate or would like ideas on what and how this can be done,
please e-mail Peirce parent Harvey Yee.

Daffodil Day
Welcome Spring and Show We Care!
Daffodil Day is one of several community outreach projects with which Peirce students are involved each year.

Daffodils are purchased from The American Cancer Society with all proceeds going to it.

The daffodils are delivered on a designated "Daffodil Day" during the first week of Spring. And, of course, everyone is encouraged to wear yellow on this day of brilliant beauty at our school.

Dance Caliente
On March 25th the children of Peirce will be treated to a presentation of the wonderful art of Spanish dancing.
