Valentines for Vets
Valentines for Vets is a community project with which Peirce has been involved for many years. Begun by former fifth grade teacher Kim Kerr, children create valentines either at home or at school. The valentines are then delivered by some of the fifth graders and their teachers to the V.A. Hospital in Bedford, MA. The veterans truly look forward to receiving these cards with their meals on Valentine's Day.

This year fifth grade teachers Ms. Coppola and Ms. Murphy have graciously taken on this worthwhile project. Valentines for Vets is just one of the many community projects with which Peirce students are involved, each of which provides a great opportunity to build good citizenship skills.
