Bassai Hyung
The Bassai Hyung has underwent many changes over the last 450 to 500 years. The creator is unknown, but due to the moves, the speed and direction changes, it is thought to be from the So Lim Sa style from the So Rim Sa Temple in the Ha Nam province in Southern China. The movements of the form change from style to style, but they all have the same characteristics of light and fast, and slow and forceful, while changing direction to face a number of opponents. The continual change of speed and direction in this form gives its resemblance and name of the Snake form due cause.
