Popstar!: How did you meet Aaron Carter?
Hilary: When I first met Aaron, it was at his birthday party in December. And then he came and did an episode on Lizzie McGuire.
Popstar!: What did you think when you first met him?
Hilary: I thought he was really cute and really nice. He was fun to hang out with.
Popstar!: So you're dating???
Hilary: Yes...when he's in town, I see him. We go to movies a lot, we've been out to dinner. One of the times, we were at one of my director's Super Bowl parties. We went to his Super Bowl party and we went shopping.
Popstar!: Is he going to be on your show again?
Hilary: Yeah, they just wrote another script for him. It's kind of like a Notting Hill. He comes back into town and he asks me out. I say no to him in the script and I feel so bad. I just think that our lives are too different. He's Aaron Carter---why would he want to date Lizzie McGuire? It's a pretty cute script.
Popstar!: Who else would you want to see guest star on the show?
Hilary: There's so many great people! Justin Timberlake is pretty hot. [Laughs] And I like Britney Spears a lot.
Popstar!: Who are your favorite pop singers?
Hilary: I like everything. I like 'N Sync, Backstreet Boys, Aaron, Britney, Christina Aguilera, Mandy Moore, 98 Degrees,, BBMak---everyone!!! And I'm so jealous because BBMak was on Even Stevens!
Popstar!: Would you ever want to get into the singing side of the business?
Hilary: Would I? Well, actually, I'm taking singing lessons right now! I sing in the shower, in the car---everywhere. I think I want to do both!
Popstar!: How is it getting recognized a lot?
Hilary: Kind of weird. There's people screaming, "Lizzie, Lizzie!" I'm like, "Are they talking about me?" It's really cool, because I've worked really hard to get to where I am right now. It's a little strange, but it's cool in a way, too.
Popstar!: So you know Frankie Muniz?
Hilary: Yeah, Frankie is one of my really good friends.
Popstar!: Were you guys dating? Did Aaron take over for Frankie?
Hilary: [Laughs] No comment! [Laughs]
