About the play . . .
"Lizzie Borden took an axe,
And gave her mother fortywacks;
When she saw what she had done,
She gave her father forty-one."
The little song is famous all over the world, her house has become a museum and hotel, the mystery has never been solved. But what was it like living as Lizzie Borden?

It's time to find out.

Lizzie's back; she's rented a theatre and taken over an actor's body. As she relates what happened the day of that "unfortunate incident," she'll also slip back into the events of her life leading up to that day: her first love, her first loss, her first day of school and much more.

Lizzie Borden is a Bitch was workshoped as part of the Culture*Park one-act play marathon, in October of 2005, where it left audiences rolling with laughter. Due to it's reception, the play has been further developed into an hour-long production and will have it's premiere at Culture*Park's lab in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The dates are scheduled for March 3rd and 4th* at 8pm. Reserve seats early! Space is limited.

*Future performance dates to follow.
