Fairy Tale

Love at first sight
From across the room
Unnoticed at first
While the friendship was left to bloom

Until a chilly winter's night,
And true love's first kiss,
The world stopped turning
As the couple embraced in the mist

Love gave her a fairy tale
Made real her dreams
A knight in shining armor
That made her a princess, so it seems

He promised her the world
Said for her he'd lasso the moon
They contemplated their future,
The names of their children, all afternoon

A beautiful summer's day
Sapphire sky so clear
And adorned with satin clouds
A day to proclaim their love so dear

Love gave her a fairy tale
She's living out her dream
Her knight in shining armor
And she, forever his queen
