| About Home: |
| The most important thing to me is my family. I am very close to my parents, sister, aunts/uncles, cousins, and grandparents. I can now add a brother-in-law to my list of family members because my sis just got married. I have a sweet Maltese puppy, Mr. Darcy, two cats, Dixie and Gracie, and my parents have a fox terrier, Max. |
| About Education: |
| I attended Richland Attend. Center from the 1st grade through the 12th grade. I did spend a portion of my 4th grade year at Yale Elementary in Richardson, Texas. After graduating from Richland, I attended Hinds Community College where I earned an A.A. in History. After finishing Hinds, I attended Mississippi College where I earned a B.S. Ed. in Social Studies. Currently, I am working on my Masters in Social Studies at Mississippi College. |
| About My Activities: |
| I find myself very busy at Terry High School outside the classroom. I am currently the Fellowship of Christian Students sponsor. This is an organization that allows Christian students in the school to come together once a week for fellowship and devotions. I am also the Cheer coach for the football, basketball, and competition squads. This keeps me VERY busy during the school year, as well as, during the summer. |

| People who know me will agree I am a little silly! I love reading Harry Potter books and I LOVE Lord of the Rings! My favorite tv shows range from West Wing to Lizzie McGuire. I love SNL, too!!! I am game for any kind of road-trip and shopping is my greatest talent! |

| I gained my National Board Certification in A/YA Social Studies in 2003. I am a Teacher Consultant for Miss. Geographic Alliance. I am a member and have served on the board for the Mississippi Council for the Social Studies. Other organizations I am a member of include: NCSS, NCGE, and Pi Lambda Theta. |
