| The addition was planned in 1993 and little by little the digging was done on the basement until 1997 when we hit solid rock and had to call in the pros to finish it up. |

| In 1998 we laid the walls of the basement and covered it with plywood and plastic. Waterproof painting had been done as we went along. A drainage system was installed along the parimeter. The "foreman" (PC the cat) inspected the progress daily. |
