| This past January I went to Honduras with other students, faculty & staff from Houghton College. It was a wonderful experience -- so wonderful that I am planning on going there for my semester abroad for Spanish! |

| We spent some time on an island called Utila, right off the coast of Honduras. This is one of the two main roads on the island -- the view we had looking down the street from where we stayed. Yes that is a guy on a bike with a REAL parrot. |

| Candle caves! The 11-year old boys of the island took us to the most beautiful cave which they lit with candles! |
