| The town is governed by the Town Council. The Town Council consists of three elected members and an elected clerk-treasurer. All of the elected members have a four year term at which time there is a new election. The town marsall and fire chief are appointed by the Town Council. The monthly board meetings are held at the town office on the third Monday of each month. Meetings begin at 7:30 PM Eastern Standard Time and are open to the public. The town's sewage is also governed by the Town Council. |
