Shattered Friend
I wish you were a shattered friend
In a million pieces
But I can clearly see
You are complete without me!
When you were down
With no friends
I was there
I helped you out
Of the dark dwelling pit
Depression
Now it is so sad to see
I'm not worth a smile at -
My friends did warn me
That you would use me
Charming and sweet
Till you get all you need
Then throw me away
Like yesterday's trash!
I was blind
I did not see
That you were only toying with me
Playing me
Like a song
That you no longer listen from
Oh how I wish
You were in a million pieces
Shattered friend....
Let me put our friendship back together again
So, we can both be complete
Coz, I am the one, who's broken
You can clearly see.

"This poem is about someone who was a friend and took me and many others for granted. He could be very charming at times, yet would stab you in the back, taking one "for a ride" at the same time. In this poem I am trying to save our friendship."
