Some of my poetry is reflective in nature ~ where I look back on my life's experiences and situations; or I write it from a third person's point of view. Alot of my reflective poetry are lessons in my life, which I learnt sometime after the event. So then I write about the lesson later. I also write about when people or situations inspire me.
