Mission for the Sick
I'm on a mission,
I wanna reach out...
Touch the hurt and the lonely,
Those too afraid to speak.
Show them the way,
Out of their pain.
From denial, to acceptance, to recovery.
And maybe along the way,
They can make peace,
With their abusers?
More importantly, is for them
To make peace with themselves.
If my story told, helps but one,
To get through this shame,
Shift the blame,
To the perpetrator,
Let the victim breathe relief.
Then my mission's complete!
And your disapproval,
Means nothing to me!
For it's not you, another abuser
That I want to reach...
But those made sick,
Emotionally, mentally, psychologically
Because of people like you.
This is my mission, for the sick
We are not weak!
You're the one who is diseased!
Stand up brothers and sisters!
Be counted for your victory!
Turn this victim,
Into so much more, than a survivor...
But a lover of life!
And herself...
