Justification

Justification,
Why I do what I do?
Act in this way,
You don't approve!
Who asked you to?
I take back my power!
Believe in me,
I try to
Whilst still explaining to you,
Understanding me.
Who am I?
Who have I become?
Who are you?
And why are you affecting me so much?
Why should I care?
What you believe?
What you think of me?
I am confused?
I grasp at the truth
Who's truth?
Yours, mine or God's?
Is there any difference?
Does it really matter?
It must!
At least to me
Otherwise, I wouldn't be writing this
As I continue in this
Justification

"Why should I justify to you what this poem is about, and that is exactly what the poem is about, justifying yourself to others and to you. The most difficult person to convince can sometimes be yourself. I'm sure everyone will relate to this poem on one level or another. Thanks for reading, and let me know what you think through my guestbook."
