Easter Martyrs Easter is upon us Nearing the time of remembrance each day Calling us to reflect and think Of what the Saviour has done Dying in our place, To provide us with grace Forgiveness from our sins Life eternal and everlasting Could we ever repay? This great sacrifice, No! I read my books And my Bible too Drawing closer to You. I think of all the martyrs Not just the ones from history But the modern day saints Standing for what they believe Dying to prove their faith And I am in awe Of such selfless acts Being so sure of their destiny Their certainty never failing Making us all stronger More like the strongest of all Jesus Christ, our Lord In this holiday season Don't just think of your own fun Take a moment, to thank God For all He has done And continues to do.
