Damnation
I look into your eyes...
I see me,
Almost a decade younger...
Winning minds over,
To my strict thinking...
I must save the world!
Drag you to heaven,
By your hair!
Implant the fear of God!
Hey sinner, its for your own good.
You wanna drink a what?
Party on with Satan!
You listen to metal music?
Lucifers daughter!
Oh no, dont make it so hard,
Gods all loving and forgiving,
Its all about peace man.
You water down His Scriptures!
Youre making it an easy ride!
Fit relilgion around your life!
When we should live for Him!
My friend, I was once like you...
Damned if I did, and
Damned if I didnt!
Where does grace live?
Brain wash, reprogram,
Cultic churches are so deceptive,
Make you work for it.
Give em all your money $
Booking fee to Heaven.
What do you mean, youre not healed?
Oh ye of little faith!
It works around them,
Countability, they have none!
Dont you know?
Youre the problem!
I dont care what caused your fall.
Get in the ring with me!
Ill make you tumble!
Its a discipline problem,
A no-win war!
With the biggest deceivers of them all!
And you tell me, Im going to hell!
You wear my blood on your hands!
Judgement Days gonna deal
You a harsh blow!
All those who did so much
For your church
Are gonna find out their seat
In Heaven is void?
Their ticket is counterfeit?
And the sellers skipped town.
Fundamental liars!
Hypocritical manipulators!
Where are all your victims?
Coz I wanna show them the right way,
A lot easier than you think.
Unblock the shit
That you filled their mind with.
Show them Gods unconditional
Love, acceptance and forgiveness.
No conditions,
A swear word,
In your Bible,
Not mine!

"Have you read my poem Dance With The Devil in my Reflective pages? Because these two poems almost go together. Several years back I became involved in an over the top fundamental church who wanted to take all of my money and control every action and decision I made. I finally left that church and am now comfortably resting in my faith, in another church who cares for me, without such harsh judgement. This poem is written for a friend whos still stuck in a fundamental all too controlling church. This poem is almost like a dialogue between the two of us. Me talking about Gods love, grace and forgiveness, and the respondent saying I need to be stricter with myself! I think anyone whos experienced a strict religious up-bringing or stage in their life, will be able to relate to this poem."
