I must say, one of the best nights of my life. Depeche Mode does the greatest concert ever.
Poe (the opening act) was wonderful. Energetic, running through the crowd, music and vocals so touching and spine chilling I cried.
Dave Gahan was awesome. Jumping and twirling around on stage like a madman. Martin Gore doing his signature guitar playing bounce. Not sure what Andy was contributing other than stability. I love them all!
They opened with "Dead of Night" the perfect song live. All of my favorites followed including "It's No Good", " Personal Jesus", "Home", "In Your Room", "Enjoy the Silence" and they ended their encore with one of my all time favorites "Never Let Me Down". Of course that's not all they played, but I mentioned the ones that were the most fun.
I screamed everytime Dave twirled around, I danced and sang along with every song. It was amazing. Background films were great. Martin is very good live. The whole night was the best and over too soon. |
