Fastest Way to Tick Them Off: Being teased about almost anything, though he generally tends to get more embarrassed than angry. What really pisses him off is if somebody insults or hurts one of his friends or his sister.

Fastest Way to Placate Them: Aside from justice or Seishirou's presence? Sweets.

Do They Play Well With Others?: Yes. In fact, at times he can be almost too fair and turn into a doormat.

Will They Require the Services of the CLAMP School Therapist?: He might, but just at the moment he's a pretty happy kitty.

Do They Have a History of Property Damage?: Kinda sorta... well, it tends to happen around him every so often... Look, just don't tell his grandmother about it.

Megalomaniacal Tendancies?: He's just about the opposite of megalomaniacal.

Are They a Sexual Predator?: No; if anything, he's much more of a victim type.

Do They Have "Issues"?: Oh yes. Oh god yes.

Appearance: Subaru's appearance reflects his innocence to some extent--petite and slender, with huge, eager green eyes and perpetually tousled black hair, he looks almost pixyish. Only slightly less feminine than his identical twin, Hokuto, he tends to have her fashion sense forced on him, and he's thus usually seen wearing brightly-coloured, slightly outrageous outfits when not in his school uniform. He's never without his gloves, and is rarely seen without his black-and-red hat--a quirky addition to the standard CLAMP School uniform which makes him easy to pick out in a crowd of students.

Grade: 10

Favorite Subject: Literature, Home Ec (he loves to cook and socialize), Music, and what little veterinary studies-type classes he can take.

Least Favorite Subject: Any part of his science classes where he has to dissect something. Dissection tends to make him green around the gills. Also, he has a hard time staying awake in History class (or keeping up in English).

Area of Concentration: White Onmyoujitsu--his grandmother has taught him quite a lot about using his power. He also knows that he wants to work with animals, though he isn't exactly sure which classes will help him the most.

Areas in Need of Improvement: (what do they suck at?) Subaru really needs to work on becoming more assertive and less squeamish. Other than that, his English needs a boost, as his pronunciation is pretty horrific.

Section $: Family History

Any Existing Family: (aka: who is paying the tuition?) Lady Sumeragi, Subaru's grandmother, pays for Subaru and Hokuto's education. She lives in Kyoto but keeps an eye on her grandchildren through scrying and the occasional e-mail.

Favorite Family Member: His twin sister Hokuto. Subaru adores her, even though she does tend to tease him somewhat mercilessly.

Least Favorite Family Member: He doesn't always get along with Grandma...

Number of Dead Family Members: A lot. Like... a WHOLE lot, including both his parents.

Will They Require Pet-Friendly Accomodations?: Seeing as he's the kind of boy who would bring home anything fuzzy and hungry-looking, yes, he probably will.

Will They Require Mech-Friendly Accomodations?: Nope.

History: The younger of the Sumeragi twins and the thirteenth head of the Sumeragi Clan, Subaru was orphaned at an early age--his mother died in childbirth and his father was killed under mysterious circumstances. Hokuto was his closest friend, and his grandmother was his most attentive teacher. From a very young age, Lady Sumeragi trained him in the art of white Onmyoujitsu, and he was not only a talented pupil but an eager one--after all, learning white magic gave him a way to protect the people he cared about most.

Since the age of nine, he's had star-shaped scars on the backs of both hands, and his grandmother has made him wear magicked gloves to cover them up. He doesn't remember how he got the scars or why the gloves are so important; every so often he has vague dreams about an incident involving sakura petals and a man with honey-coloured eyes, and he thinks this might be connected with the marks on his hands. Dreams aside, the gloves have become a fact of life for Subaru--which is not to say that he likes them; in fact, there are times when he would give anything to be able to touch something with bare hands.

Subaru decided to apply to the CLAMP school because he wanted to make his grandmother and sister proud of him--while his skills as an onmyouji were and are considerable, he wants to prove to them (and to himself) that he can excel in other areas. And it doesn't hurt that CLAMP School also happens to be the school one of his older friends is attending...
