A Brief Synopsis:
They came from all over the country. The Poobah put a call out to his people, and was satisfied with their eager willingness to embark on a mission of drunkeness, debauchery and the proverbial Hang Out Time. The people arrived Thursday and Friday before Labor Day to a city just waiting to swallow up their money in exchange for a good time. And a good time was granted.

Quote of the Trip:

Bito: Will you cheer for me, Liz? I'm going to be a speed skater.
Liz: If you were a speed skater, I'd probably sleep with you.

Qualification of that statement: note the word probably. Actually, there is just no way to make myself look decent after that comment. But, anyone who knows me knows it would take a whole lot more than just being a speed skater to get me into bed. Which may be why everyone in earshot found that statement so amusing.

We ate desert in Paris. We sunbathed at the Oasis. Some of us won money, others lost money. Some people saw the Hoover Dam. A few of us found Elvis. None of us got married. All of us had a great weekend.
