Hey, the secret service drives them, need I say more? - using vitamin e oil on blisters from rowing to help them heal faster - taking an art class once every two years. - getting so drunk, you either dance on the table and chairs in the bar or you pass out in the bushes outside the bar. But only once a year or so. - after coming home drunk, filling the largest drinking glass in your kitchen with water and drink it all. Then repeat. Only then should you go to bed. I have been doing this for 6 years, and have yet to wake up with a hangover. Except after Mardi Gras, I can't say anything will cure 3 days of drinking. - once a month or so, take a day where you have no contact with anyone you know for at least 12 hours. - seeing Billy Joel in concert - Chainwheel Drive Bicycles in Clearwater and Palm Harbor, FL - never wear socks with sandals. Socks are for sneakers, and you look ridiculous when putting them with sandals. - Stewart's cream soda. - Qdoba burritos in Denver. - The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson, Wyoming. - not driving up to Harrison Ford's ranch in Jackson. It's his house, leave him alone. If you want to see something cool in Wyoming, go to Yellowstone. - take a snow-cat tour of Yellowstone in the WINTER. - riding your bike on the bike path around Lake Dillon in Summit County, CO. - telling someone the good things you hear about them. - picking up the check at lunch every so often. - Fat Matt's Rib Shack on Piedmont Rd in Atlanta. If you don't like ribs, the Chicken Shack is right next door. - seeing a boy band concert with your 9 year old neice. - Ned for highlights at Van Michael's salon in Buckhead. - Jill for color at Venus Salon in Denver. - Aveda Hair Products for styling and Biolage for shampoo and conditioner. - Realize that there are few things better than spending time in a chairlift. - Miss Saigon - The French Press in Edwards, Colorado. - read something. Even if it's just the newspaper, read. - keep in touch with the people who matter. It only takes a few minutes to call. - the key lime pie at Bracci in Clearwater. Mmmmmmm... - getting to know the staff at your favorite restaurants and bars - buying a bike that fits - dyeing your hair some ridiculous color for a while - like blue or green or pink - getting a tattoo. Think of all the marks on your body that you had no CHOICE in where they are or what they look like. Now choose one you do like, and put it someplace you want it. - have a barbecue on Memorial Day weekend. Don't forget the horseshoe pit. - Merrell snow clogs. Best $40 I spent this year. - carving a pumpkin for halloween, even if you don't get any trick-or-treaters. - wear a costume every chance you get. - once in a while, go get a pedicure. Guys too. Don't worry about how gross your feet are, they will make them look great - that's the point! - Welbilt/Dak Bread Machines - Farberware Cutlery - after 4 years, they're still sharp as ever. Okay, I say this until I moved in to my roommate's place, his knives are way better - but they're spendy. - be trashy, but don't make a habit of it. - Beringer's White Zinfandel. Best wine you can get under $5, probably under $20. - Black velvets. - Hand in Hand, Fox and Hound, Rose and Crown or Prince of Wales bars in Atlanta. - Staying up all night drinking tea with your friends and painting your fingernails - keep going.
