(510) Bribri: Saeda just went out the back door following the trail of what seems to be a young child... and still hasn't found any sign of the mouse. It's a dark night, moonless, and the sky is coverd with clouds (i should ask now if you have the light from you signet active or not)
(511) Saeda: Saeda instinctively touches the signet on her coat, knowing full well she won't find much without it. "Show me the way..." she whispers more to herself than the object.

(510) Bribri: Still no sign of midge at all.. though you do find a little more sign of the child, as it appears she or he steped in the dirt leaving 'some' signs of a trai, but not a very strong one. And after a few minutes it goes cold. From the light of your signet you can tell you dont reocnize this street at all, the houses are strange and unknown.. of course this is no surprise as it's not as if you go to Aldons through the back door anyway~

(511) Saeda: "I didn't think Aldon had any children..." Saeda muses quietly, "A thief perhaps?"

(510) Bribri: (pfft easyly got that) A gruff voice.. whichi s trying to speak in hushed tones, but failing to because of the stern, and intimidating way he's trying to speak. Whoever it is, he's just down around the corner of the street and is talking to someone "The coin pouch now!"
(511) Saeda: Saeda places a hand on her sword hilt, but decides against being hasty... for once... moving quietly but quickly she heads to the sound of the voice straining her ears to make certain it is indeed a mugging, and not some blackmarket business deal.

(510) Bribri: You manage to move up without him noticing, you can see them both clearly, a human, ragged clothes holding a long sword towards the neck of guess who:Kadus, who's currently out of uniform, just wearing what looks to be a comfterble robe. He starts reaching for his belt seeming to be listening to the muggers demands... though you know very well the pouch he's reaching for has nothing to do with coin.

(511) Saeda: Saeda lunges foward trying to get her blade in a position where it would protect Kadus from harm, but saying nothing as to not startle the man into hurting her partner.

(510) Bribri: The muggers sword goes flying out of his hand for a few moments he just stands there not even aware it's gone until he sees you.. and.. his missing sword "... huh... what the... dammit!"

(5279) Saeda: Saeda arches an eyebrow, "Since when have you ever called me, 'Lady' or 'Miss'?"
(5279) Saeda: She strides over to the mugger, and firmly secures his arms behind his back.
(5278) Bribri: Kadus arches a brow as he seems to reconize your voice and does a double take on your face ".. wha..? Saeda?! haha, damn I barely reconized you in that getup... I knew you said you weren't feeling safe on the streets alone anymore.. but that's a bit much.... but.. then again" He says glancing at the mugger
(5279) Saeda: An obviously boggled look finds its way to Saeda's face, for a moment she goes to prod him about joking, but then quickly remembers it would be the first time 'he' pulled a joke.
(5279) Saeda: "So er..." she decides to play along for the moment, if only to learn more of what happened to her poor partner, "What were you doing out here at this hour?"
(5278) Bribri: "I thought Melina would told you before you went out... Midge decided he didn't want to take a bath and snuck out.. haha the little weasle..... you were already asleep so...I thought there was no reason to both you about it.."

(5279) Saeda: Saeda tries to hide her confusion, but only manages to do so by looking back towards the mugger and hiding her face entirely before replying somewhat cheerfully "That he is, any luck finding him?"
(5278) Bribri: "Not yet..." A white cat apporches the two of you looking up at Kadus speaking in plain common "No sign of the little master m'lord. He hides better then a mouse, if such was possible"
(5278) Bribri: Kandus sigh s".. thanks anyway Monty.... " he chuckles a bit "no sleep for either of us tonight by the looks of it"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda's eyes go a little wide at the cat, and its choice of words to its 'lord', after checking herself for any headwounds she looks back towards Kadus and manages a rather flustered look. For a moment she thinks to break the illusion of who she is, but something holds her tongue, and she instead looks back towards the street, "Well we should search quickly... we never know if there are more like this fellow on the streets."
(5278) Bribri: Kandus scratches the back of his head seeming to be a little heistant because of your reaction (you dont even need a sense motive check to tell that he thinks you're acting a little... odd but he does agree with what you're saying ".. we raised a smart kid.. he knows how to stay out of trouble... but we still better find him"
(5279) Saeda: "We?" she breathlessly mouths the word to herself, thankfully making no sound. "Er Monty... speaking of mice, you haven't happened to find any of them have you?"
(5278) Bribri: Monty shakes his head "Sadly no.. I've more fo a taste for birds anyway though..."
(5278) Bribri: Monty bows out to continue his search. and Kandus waves his hands summoning an invisible servant to guide the now Dazed mugger to where he belongs with a little note "The boys shoudl know what to do him"
(5279) Saeda: "Well I know one of the children down the street lost a pet mouse with white and brown coloring the other day," she notes, trying to sound convincing despite her head beginning to spin, "Do try and avoid harming him if you see him will you?"
(5278) Bribri: Monty looks back noding before vainishing into the darkness of teh streets
(5279) Saeda: Saeda stumbles slightly feeling a bit weak in the knees as various garbled conclusions she is beginning to draw overwhelm her.
(5278) Bribri: Kandus looks at you consernd, with good rweason of course, acting stangly as you are, he rests both his hands on your shoulders "... are you alright? I.. can find Midge on my own... you dont hae to be out here you know"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda tenses up slightly at his touch, but then relaxes into it despite herself, "No no... I'm just a little light headed after... that sort of excitement, I was... afraid you'd get hurt."
(5279) Saeda: She winces slightly at how unconvincing she sounded to herself, but the excuse did seem logical none the less.
(5278) Bribri: "I didn't thanks to you..." Kadus pauses seeming to think "Where did you learn to wield a sword like that? Finaly caved in and took those self defence lessons your father kept insisting on?"
(5279) Saeda: "Er... yes... you know how persistent he can be," she coughs slightly to hide the lack of breath in her voice as her thoughts drifted to her father.
(5279) Saeda: "Do you think I'm any good?" she asks quietly to change the subject, unaware of the single tear that found its way down her face.
(5278) Bribri: "That explains it.." Kadus says.. almost sounding as if he's reasuring himself more then he is you ".. and yes... you are.. I've seen blades have trouble doing a move like that.. you pulled it off flawlessly... but" he turns you around looing you in the eye swith a smile wiping away the tear with his hand".. this is only upseting you.. Melina should have a pot of tea on the go.. head home.. have a cup.. and I'll be back home with Midge within int he hour That I promice you"
(5279) Saeda: "No... I... I'd rather stay," she manages after a moment, suddenly wondering if there was another her, a better her, waiting for Kadus at this home they supposedly shared, "Besides, it's getting late, you'll need all the help you can get."
(5279) Saeda: After a moment she moves away from him, her head swimming with confusion as she tries to maintain a facade of diligently searching for what she is starting to believe is her "son" in some odd twisted way.
(5278) Bribri: Kadus frowns a bit and sighs ".. ha.. just as pistant as your old man, should of known better."

(5279) Saeda: She chortles softly, sadness edging in on her sense of humor, "I think I might have an idea where to look..."
(5279) Saeda: Saeda walks with an uncertain gait as she heads back towards where she lost track of the child's footprints, all the while she keeps asking herself wordlessly why she isn't just telling Kadus what she believes is going on.
(5278) Bribri: Kadus follows glancing around the buildings "if you got a good idea, tell me it, I'm pretty much at loss.."

(5279) Saeda: "Er... one of the neighbors mentioned to me once that he sometimes played around here..." she notes, keeping her face hidden from him, "Perhaps there's some sign of him."

(5278) Bribri: Kandus bends sdown spoting one of the footprints Saeda was looking for "Well here's a sign.. unless there's another four year old boy running around barefoot tonight"
(5279) Saeda: "We do need to find him a pair of shoes he'll actually wear," Saeda comments despite herself, turning bright red afterwards as her mind searches for the reason she said such a thing.

(5278) Bribri: "and socks for that matter" Kandus adds, Saeda seeming to have hit a truth by luck. He tries to find another print, and finds only one more heading in the direction of what looks to be a bakers shop... though at this hour it's closed (Sure sure just respond when you can)

(5279) Saeda: "I certainly hope he didn't go inside there..." she frowns, regaining her composure ever so slightly and silently repremanding herself for her previous comments.

(5278) Bribri: Kandus pushes the door light and it slowly opens.
(5279) Saeda: "Oh dear..." she frowns, "Well we had better go clear things up if that's what's happened."

(5278) Bribri: Kadus takes a step in looking around shouting out "Hello?! anoyone home?" Even if Midge might hear it.. he can't exactly sneak into someones home.
(5278) Bribri: The bakers goods are displayed about but almost all of it is coverd so it doesn't go rock hard over night.. with the exception of one tray of cookies which is missing a few now.
(5278) Bribri: Kadus gets no reply ".. we better be quick.. I'll check upstairs.. you check the backroom.. hopefully someones home and saw him"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda frowns slightly, looking at the cookies, and despite appearances examining them for any signs of mice.
(5278) Bribri: There's stairs leading up (as kadus sugested) and a door behind the counter
(5278) Bribri: No signs of mice what sooo everrr~
(5279) Saeda: Saeda walks around behind the counter, and opens the door slowly, "Hello? Is anyone here?"
(5278) Bribri: the backroom is of course, a kitchen, where else does th ebaker bakerthough it's dark and only your signet lights the place. You see something moving out of the corner of the light.
(5279) Saeda: Saeda's eyes dart towards the movement, but she decides against moving forward, "Hello? I'm sorry for barging in... I'm looking for... for... my son."
(5279) Saeda: Despite the lie, the last two words seem to roll quite easily off her tongue, giving her a strange warm happy feeling simply for saying them...
(5279) Saeda: ... a feeling quickly replaced by a guilty sense of confusion.
(5278) Bribri: A familiar voice speaks out though not quiet as high pitched as it used to be ".. ehn? Saeda?... Saeda!" A boy rushes out from the shadows, with your eyes... wraped in a white blanket and having shaggy brown hair with a few white streaks in it. It looks like he's about to jump up and hug you when he grabs onto your jacket and pulls down "Saeda everythings gone CRAZY! Everythings turning really reallyr eally really really really small1 and now your son is missing too?! Damn! I didnt even knew you had one!
(5278) Bribri: "And I lost all my fur too" he says in a high pitched whine! "I dont know how but I did! I had to wear this blanket thing to stop myself from freezing~!"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda arches an eyebrow, "Midge... oh... my..."
(5278) Bribri: "Yea I know, Crazyyy~? I can't even hear the bosses thinking anymore, connection wen't kabolly~ this is really bad I think super bad! Particularly since allt he food is smaller too !"
(5279) Saeda: She opens her mouth to explain something, but then suddenly shuts it as another thought strikes her, "If you're here... then the other Midge is..."
(5278) Bribri: "Other midge?" He blinks "Don'tbe silly I'm one of a kind"
(5279) Saeda: "I suppose this is where the fairy tale ends," she mutters with a rather sad smile.
(5278) Bribri: "Ehn?" the now boy midge blinks
(5279) Saeda: "Kadus!" she calls out, "Come down here, I er... found him."
(5278) Bribri: Kadus is already on his way down the baker (in his bed clothes) behind him ".. there you are you little bugger do you know the trouble you caused?"
(5278) Bribri: Midge yelps "boss! What no I didnt do all this! It's gota be some really powerfull sorcerer or a bored goddess or something!"
(5279) Saeda: "Kadus... Midge and I have some explaining we have to do... but not here.. we've already harrassed the poor baker too much."
(5278) Bribri: Kadus grabs him by the blanket lifting him up "You could at LEAST think of a good excuse kiddo! I'm going to have to pay for all those cookies you ate..."
(5279) Saeda: "Sir?" Saeda asks the baker, "I'm terribly sorry for this mess, he's just a child with a sweet tooth, we'll pay you for any damages and for the inconvenience too of course."
(5278) Bribri: Kadus glances at Saeda ".. right... not here.. We're sorry for all the trouble" He says glancing at the baker who doesn't seem to upset as he counts Kadus coins.
(5278) Bribri: "And tomorow you'll be here doing chores for MR Tenel as well Midge" which cuases midge to just look very confused "... bosss~?"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda heads back outside and waits for the others to follow her as she stops a short distance away out of earshot of any listeners.
(5279) Saeda: Saeda chortles softly at Kadus's comment, shaking her head to herself as they approach.
(5278) Bribri: Kadus heads outside, as well Midge in tow holding him by the hand the mouse boy whining "hey! Ow! Stop that! jerk!"
(5279) Saeda: "I'm sorry Kadus... I haven't been entirely truthful... and er... Midge stop struggling for a moment."
(5278) Bribri: "Aww but it's fun! I almost got out that time" says midge as he stops "fine... can someone tell me what in the nine hells is going OW!" Kadus taps him on the head "Watch your language!"
(5279) Saeda: She sighs lightly before leaning against a nearby wall, "I am Saeda, but I'm not your Saeda... and this isn't your Midge despite appearances."
(5278) Bribri: Kadus looks at you more confused ".. what.. what are you talking about Saeda? ...."
(5279) Saeda: "I don't know how he and I got here... or more confusingly how he became like... that..." she goes on somewhat ignoring his confusion, and looking rather somber as she talks, "But somehow we did get here, and I fear your Midge may be where I am from, and more worriedly he may now be a mouse."
(5278) Bribri: "... what...? Saeda you're not making any sense, this IS our son" He says pointing to MIdge which midge churps up "you crazy? I'm your familiar boss! Ewww you two together, that's a creepy thought..."
(5278) Bribri: "dont tell me you two kissed or osmething, that sure as hell would explain this. if one thing would end the world THAT would!"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda manages a slightly amused look at Midge's comment, the creepiness of such a thought having crossed her own mind long ago, "This Midge is another Kadus's familiar, my Kadus if you will, although I assure you I have never called him that."
(5279) Saeda: "And will never..." she mutters to herself, but sounds strangely unconvinced.
(5278) Bribri: A diplomacy check would be nessary here
(5278) Bribri: Kadus is looking at you like your'e insaneee~
(5278) Bribri: "... you've been acting strangly Saeda..... that I noticed.. .. but what you're sugesting...."

(5279) Saeda: "If you need proof look at how I handle a blade..." she sighs, her own doubt having long since disappated, and with that she pulls out her sword twirling it around in a long series of complicated practice routines, "Do you honestly think your own Saeda could handle a blade like that after a few self defense classes?"
(5278) Bribri: "You're Saeda Uren, you have been for years...I dont know what I hand is......but.. "He glances at the sword heistating for a moment "..then what.. you're another Saeda.. another Saeda from where?"
(5279) Saeda: "Good question," she answers helplessly, "I don't suppose this city goes by a name other than Yeltin?"
(5278) Bribri: "Yelltrin has never had any other name Saeda..."
(5279) Saeda: ((*yeltrin oops :P ))
(5278) Bribri: (no matter I've made 100 typos since the start of this, no problem haha)
(5279) Saeda: "Then we have a conundrum as we have two Yeltrins, two Saeda's and two very different Midges..." she hesitates for a moment before continuing and sighing slightly, "In my Yeltin I never married you, in fact we could barely be called friends despite working together... I am a Hand there and you are an Eye, we serve the Crown together as partners, and Midge is not our son, but your familiar... poor Monty doesn't even exist."

(5278) Bribri: You're pretty darn sure he doesn't belive you, what you speak is pretty darn crazy... very crazy, he looks more worried, likely for your sanity "... Saeda... you.. you've had a long night.. the stress must be geting to your head..."

(5278) Bribri: He puts out one hand while Midge stays silent "... just come home" He says with a concerned look "you just need some rest.."
(5279) Saeda: Saeda sighs, "Listen Kad," she reverts to his nickname which happily sounds exactly like 'cad', "You of all people should understand what's going on better than me, but if you really need proof look at Midge, talk with him, you'll find he's just as 'crazy' as I am."
(5279) Saeda: "Right now your son might be in danger, perhaps being chased by some cat for all we know... and despite how little I know of you or your family... I can't sit here wasting time on trying to convince you when he could need us."
(5278) Bribri: "Boss she's telling the truth! We like.. erm.. switched places or osmething Id unno.. I'm having trouble wraping my mind aro..." Kadus gives Midge a stern glare which shuts him up
(5278) Bribri: "Saeda.. what you're trying to say is both you and midge.. and yourselves from another universe.. another timeline.. i dont know.. but.. those things dont exist... there are other worlds yes... but.."
(5278) Bribri: "those are other planes, most devoted to some aspect of our own, the elements, ideals.. there is no plane that mirrors our own in the way you're sugesting... this is just madness"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda frowns looking thoughtful, "Kadus... I'd like nothing more than to go home with you and live this life as if it were my own... but it's not... there's another Saeda either here or very confused and swordless somewhere else, and there's another Midge, just as confused and possibly in danger... I wish I knew what happened, but I don't and I don't know how to reverse it either."

(5278) Bribri: (wont convince him but at least it'll stop him from just dragging you home hehe) He looks at you blankly "... Saeda.. by the lord of the book Saeda stop this. What's wrong with you?" he says laying a hand on your forehead as midge manages to wiggle free but doesn't actualy run.
(5279) Saeda: "By the gods Kadus, do you really think your wife donned armor and weapons and changed into a sword fighter overnight for no apparent reason?" she scowls as ths Kadus manages to irk her like the other has so many times before, "It's not something she'd do lightly, believe me, I know."
(5279) Saeda: Still looking annoyed and frustrated at Kadus's universal inability to think outside the box, she continues and lets her tongue slip a bit further than she had intended...
(5278) Bribri: Kadus pauses.. this out of everything.. is to him the biggest proof of what you say byu the look at his heistation.. but it still seems he's having a hard time beliving you. He puts his hand on his own forhead "...no... that doesn't.. make snese... but neither does anything you say..."
(5279) Saeda: "Besides... I've never been with a man and your Saeda obviously has so if you need proof.. yo-..." she catches herself far too late and turns bright pink.

(5279) Saeda: "We should be focusing on finding your son, but as you're the only one out of the two of us who knows a wiff about such things I guess I don't have a choice..." she sighs, "Let's just be quick about it shall we?"
(5278) Bribri: "... Their church isn't too far.. comon" He says as he turns.. walking slowly as he makes sure you're following.
(5279) Saeda: "The other Kadus is easier to get angry at..." she mutters to herself as she waits for him to lead the way.
(5279) Saeda: Saeda follows along, glancing towards Midge in some hopes he might have an idea how to speed up convincing his 'master'.
(5278) Bribri: "This is super weird crazy...how could this happen!... ummm Can you explain what's happening again? How's all this other Saeda stuff involve the world geting really small?"
(5279) Saeda: "The world didn't get small Midge, you got big," Saeda answers simply, smiling slightly despite herself.
(5278) Bribri: the mouse boy is silent for a few momens as he thinks the idea over "ohhhh I got big... hmm" He looks at his hand ".. I'm a human, a human boy now? That's why I dont have anyf ur.. well except on my head" hje ruffles it a bit
(5279) Saeda: "You'll get used to it," Saeda smirks, "I have to say I'm surprised you mastered walking on two legs so fast though."
(5278) Bribri: "heh.. I always wished I was born a human, ever since I became Kadus familiar.. humans can do so much more then a mouse can...A Mouse can't become a wizard or a warrior"
(5278) Bribri: "Ohhh I used to practice as a mouse doing it, I wanted to be more humann, but ahh I evenutly god bored of it~! It was funner making funo f Kadus"

(5279) Saeda: Saeda chuckles, imagining the old midge walking on two legs, "Well you may yet get your wish if we don't find a way to reverse all this."
(5278) Bribri: Midge laughs "wouldn't be so bad, being a boy, though you being married to Kadus... Ickkyyyy~.... why's all this happening though..? Why us?"
(5278) Bribri: Kadus seems to be listening to your conversation.. but the whole thing just seems to well, worry him, since you're both talking crazy now haha
(5279) Saeda: "I don't know Midge... I just don't know..." Saeda sighs as she looks back towards Kadus thoughtfully, thinking to herself how easy it would be to just play along for the rest of her life, but quickly dismissing the notion.
(5278) Bribri: you finaly get to the church.. its a very simple afrai, build more like some sort of clinic as opose to a real 'church' with a big obviuos Red sign on the side, that looks somewhat like a drop of blood. Inside is very ... clean, a few seats are about as well as a bed.. iyou wouldn't know if this was a church if Kadus hadn't told you. Two clerics.. dressed more like doctors (both are female) look towards the door as you enter one speaks seeming to reconize Kadus ".. what brings you here so late at night Mind of the Diamonds?"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda looks around the place curiously, wondering what twist of fate resulted in this instead of the temples of her own land.
(5278) Bribri: Kadus steps forward away from the both of you speaking in a hushed tone "... my wife and son are acting as if they aren't who they are" The other cleric greats you "Goodevening Miss Uren.. I see you brought little Midge with you"
(5278) Bribri: ".. I want a full checkup on both of them.. particuarly for any mind influancing magic or drugs......"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda sighs and glances towards the cleric who greeted her, "Good evening to you as well... let's get this over with shall we?"
(5278) Bribri: he hands the cleric a handfull of gold coins which she takes without question "... if it would be alright We'll examin you as well sir.. just in case" Kadus just nods "If you think that's best"
(5278) Bribri: you're all split up into seperate rooms, so you can each be examined seperatly, all the clerics here appear to be female, and from the few holy shirns and pictures you see int he place, you can easily assume this healer god is female as well.
(5279) Saeda: Saeda rests her blade against the wall out of the way, looking towards the cleric for instruction, and offering nothing in the way of explanation.
(5278) Bribri: The examintion seems to be eveyrthing you would expect from a doctors examintion of this sort.. combinded with alot of clerical magic and detection spells to further make sure there is in fact:nothing wrong with you.
(5278) Bribri: you're eventualy end up have to take off all your armor and gear and for it to be replaced with a simple gown... but eventualy they come to the examinitions end, and your things are returned to you.
(5279) Saeda: Saeda sighs as she reaches for her gear, but then stops and turns back towards her examiner asking simply, "Are you satisfied now that the boy that arrived with me could not have come out of me?"
(5278) Bribri: "..... this.. is most certainly true mam... not to mention you have many scars that weren't there last time... erm.. .. scars that Lady Uren didn't have..... not to mention you're not built like someone who works from home..."
(5279) Saeda: Saeda smiles warmly, "Thank you... now perhaps I can reason with Kadus, and we can both figure out what's really going on."
(5278) Bribri: she leads you out, after you get dressed to a small waiting room Midge is already there with a sucker haha
(5278) Bribri: "Heyy Saede~"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda chuckles, "Enjoying the sweets Midge?"
(5278) Bribri: "Very, Ic ould get used to being a boy pretty easy I think" he says with a smile, as Kadus is lead down to the waiting room as well. The three clerics talking as they compare their findings
(5279) Saeda: Saeda stretches slightly as they wait, the crackling noises coming from some of her joints being evidence enough of who she really is.
(5278) Bribri: The clerics finish talking and come to speak to you all "... right.. we found nothing wrong with any of you, at least nothing that isn't out of the ordanary.. magical or mundane"
(5279) Saeda: "And..." Saeda nods pointedly from the cleric who examined her towards Kadus.
(5278) Bribri: "This women.. despite her appearence we know right now isn't Saeda Uren. A twin perhaps.. but this women is not only a virgin.. but has had many signs of living a warriors life.. something Lady Uren would not have"
(5278) Bribri: "In essance sir.. your wife really ISN'T your wife.. but..."
(5278) Bribri: "we also found something else.. dealing with you and Midge"
(5278) Bribri: "detection spells of Midges mind scape found a serverd mystical connection. the sort you would see between a familiar and master... Midge.. at his age is incappable of such a summoning"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda arches an eyebrow, wondering if Midge will be alright as she knows nothing of familiars.
(5278) Bribri: "we found a similar server connection in the mind of Kadus, almost identical in fact, along with the connection to his other familar which is still intact"
(5278) Bribri: "Kadus.. as you told us you only had one familiar your entire life correct?"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda blinks in confusion.
(5278) Bribri: Kadus nods "only one, Monty is the fisrt one I summoned, I had no need of another"
(5278) Bribri: ".... let me explain... MIs.. erm.. what shoud I call you?"
(5279) Saeda: "Miss Pence will do I suppose... although you'd be the first to call me such in some time," Saeda frowns, having not had to use her last name much in quite some time, and certainly not with a 'Miss' before it.
(5278) Bribri: "right then.. Miss pence. when a wizard summons a familiar a connection.. a mystical one is made between the mind of the caster and the familiar. This connection lets the master know where his familar is.. in addition to knowing what the familiars current condition.. such as if the familiar was in danager.. and this connection works both ways"
(5278) Bribri: "As a wizard gets better in the arcane arts this connection strengthens and eventualy they can contact each other telepathicly.. among othe rthings"
(5279) Saeda: "I've gathered that much from working with Midge and Kadus for the past few months... but how does this Kadus have two such connections?" she asks, not worrying about the amount of confusion she probably just added to the conversation.
(5278) Bribri: "We... dont know.. what it should mean is he has had another familiar in the past..and it died... or some sort of barrier prevents the connection from working and broke it"
(5278) Bribri: "But Monty has the exact same connection in his mind, it is as if he was thef amiliar Mr Uren was connceted to"

(5278) Bribri: "Which is impossible as a human certianly can't be a familiar, the connection can't be made"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda sighs, obviously knowing why Midge has such a severed connection, but now wondering why this Kadus has evidence of the same...
(5279) Saeda: "Is there anything you can tell about the lost connection?" she asks curiously, "Especially Kadus's..."
(5278) Bribri: "They are both around... four years old (which is around when Midge was summoned) the exact same age.. and the mystical energy left from the bond is also exactly the same.. as if they were cut off at the same point in time.. the strangest of all is the connection seems newly serverd, a few hours ago at most"
(5279) Saeda: "That makes sense and yet doesn't..." she frowns, "But it may be the clue we need."
(5278) Bribri: kadus scratches his head "... .. it might be... I guess now I can belive you really ARENT my Saeda..."
(5279) Saeda: "Which brings us to the next question..." she frowns, "Is Lady Uren still here?"
(5279) Saeda: "I'm guessing she's not."
(5278) Bribri: "Monty headed home.. she wasn't there..." Kadus says having been using the familiar connection he does has to cover all the bases.
(5279) Saeda: "She's with your Midge I would wager," Saeda sighs, "I just hope they've found eachother... because Midge is likely very scared at the moment."
(5278) Bribri: Kadus ".. dammit, we need to find out how this happend and NOW, what were you doing when all this started?!" He asks you somewhat agitated
(5278) Bribri: "Eating the sweets aldon left out! he was lucky someone didn't steal them" Monty announces "thats when I first started feeling weirdd~"

(5279) Saeda: "Now he wants to start searching..." Saeda mutters before thinking back, "I was playing a game of cards with friends, Midge had tagged along in my pocket since the other Kadus is such a bore... he disappeared so when the game was over I went to look for him..."

(5279) Saeda: "I found a child's footprints leading out the back of Aldon's house," she recalls, "No sign of Midge, but I followed, and that's when I heard you being attacked and came to help."
(5278) Bribri: "Aldon? The only Aldon I Know is the king of Spades....who is this Aldon?"
(5279) Saeda: "He's a cobbler in my world," she chuckles, "I somehow doubt your King would like that knowledge being passed around though."
(5278) Bribri: ".. heh.. I imagin there's a cobbler in this world named Aldon somwehre as well.. the name isn't that unheard of.. though no one will used it while Aldons on the thrown..."
(5278) Bribri: Kadus gets up "but enough of this, I need to find my wife and Son... and the only way to do that is to get more facts...... we need to know what could of done something like this, and how.."
(5279) Saeda: "A good question..." Saeda frowns, "The only real clue I can think of thus far is the fact that you share Midge's lost connection with the Kadus from my world... that has to mean something, but I dare say I don't know what."
(5278) Bribri: Midge pops up between you "I've got ea better question! where do they keep those lolli things! I want another!"
(5278) Bribri: Kadus rolls his eyes "he might not be my midge but he sure as hell acts like... ow!" Midge kicks him in the leg and shouts "Watch your language!"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda chuckles helplessly at the boy.
(5279) Saeda: "Ah... it's almost like nothings changed... except normally he'd be biting you," Saeda smirks, "Come on Midge, we need to figure out what's going on, a young boy's life may hang in the balance."
(5278) Bribri: "We should head to this Aldons place first.. if that's where this al started..."
(5279) Saeda: "I believe it was near the bakery," Saeda recalls, "But I dare say I don't know this Yeltrin as well as my own."
(5278) Bribri: KAdus heads out, giving a nod to the clerics of the healer in thanks on the way out and Midge follows along, now in a small brown robe the priest gave him to replace the blanket he was wearing.
(5279) Saeda: "So... how did you and... Lady Uren... meet?" Saeda asks as they walk, genuinely curious despite herself.
(5278) Bribri: "Your.. erm.. her father introduced me, he was just showering her around the work place, I wasn't even an offical Mind back then..."
(5279) Saeda: "And you swept her off her feet I take it?" she chuckles softly, yanking Midge back into line as he starts to wander off towards a sweets shop.
(5278) Bribri: "well.. no.. .. at first she hated my guts... A whole lot at that"
(5279) Saeda: Saeda laughs, "Well that's strangely not surprising, but obviously you did something the other Kadus failed at."
(5278) Bribri: "... must have... so how abotu you, how DID you end up a.... hand? It's some sort of Guard I take it? 'stop in the name of the crown' hardly sounds like a mercanary call"
(5279) Saeda: "I suppose it's the equivalent of your Blade, and the Kadus I know is an Eye which would be the equivilant of a Mind I'd wager."
(5278) Bribri: "the investigative branch of the Kings forces?"
(5279) Saeda: "As to how... well... what happened to Lady Uren's mother?" she suddenly goes a bit quiet, looking down as she asks the question, apparently not certain she wants to know the answer.
(5279) Saeda: Saeda nods towards him.
(5278) Bribri: ".. happend? Well... nothing that I know of she just visited last week she... " He stops himself in mid senstance "... and what happend to your mother then?"
(5278) Bribri: You get to the bakery it being exactly as you left it
(5279) Saeda: She coughs for a moment, doing a better job fighting back the tears that want to form as she thinks about what things would have been like if her mother had lived, "She was killed... when I was young... I never got the chance to be show around the office and meet arrogant young Minds-to-be that might sweep me off my feet..."
(5279) Saeda: She adds the last part with a glum chuckle, but then looks up to the bakery, "It should be around here somewhere..."
(5278) Bribri: "well you'll have to retrance you steps as I haven't been there before..."
(5278) Bribri: Midge looks around "thiss way I remeber!" He points
(5279) Saeda: Saeda smiles weakly at Midge, "Midge always was good at remembering where he found food."
(5279) Saeda: Glancing around she heads in the direction the young boy pointed, looking for the back door.
(5278) Bribri: following midges lead you start heading back towards Aldons (And this is where we'll stop since you'll meet the rest of the party once you get there haha,, dont join in on the little thing on the forum yet though... you've been running around town for a while so you shouldn't come in tell the game on wednesday)
