This is a Sindarin translation of the Josh Groban song: 'To where you are'. I did it myself to the best of my knowledge and ability. I made up no word myself -- all are from various dictionaries and other on-line sources. I did, however, have to make up certain conjugations. The English lyrics of the song are at the end. I should say that the lyrics also fit the song, so it can be sung with these words! My ultimate dream is have a recording of the song that's downloadable -- that's going to have to wait...

I thought this song fit my in-progress novella "Beneath the Wood" rather well, and originally I was going to use the translation in there, but decided to use the song from the end of the FotR film, translated into elvish instead. But I still think this is pretty cool, which is why it's here.

In parenthesis () are those few literal translations of the changes I had to make, for lack of vocabulary. Generally however the translations are direct, with a little adjustment for word order (e.g. Sindarin possessives are placed after the nouns they modify, not before.)
