Dear
Journal,
We didn’t do much today, we did go to Red Lobster and
eat. Kim and I only went swimming for about 45 minutes. I still ended up
getting sunburned yesterday and today; regardless of how much sunscreen I put
on.

Dear
Journal,
This morning Kathy and I woke up early because Kim kept
on talking in her sleep and kicking us; she also kept screaming, “Move, move,”
and, “No, no”. At one point she started singing, “Lalalala,”. As a result Kathy and I got up and we decided to take a
walk on the beach. Yesterday, I think I forgot to mention that I had a
temperature of 101. So my Mom took me to the doctor and he gave me some
penicillin, some sinus Dimetapp stuff, and some cream for my sunburn. Later on
today we grilled hamburgers, and had those with chips for dinner. After dinner
Kathy, Kim, and I went to play Putt-Put.

Dear

My Mom, Dad, Kim, and I went to Marineland
today, around 11 this morning and didn’t get back until about 1. Then we went
downtown to see all the historic sites they had. My Mom, Kathy, Kim, and I went
on this horse and buggy ride through town; which wasn’t so bad. Then we stopped
at some place to get some cappuccino and we also ended up getting some pizza.
After that we all went to a war museum which was pretty interesting, and we
went to a candy store. Then while my Mom went to look at some places Kathy, Kim
and I went on this tour where this lady showed us around some areas and told us
“true” ghost stories about them.

Dear
Journal,
We didn’t do much today, Kim and I ordered pizza from
Pizza Hut for dinner, while everyone else went out to eat. So while we were
home by ourselves we decided to pick a song to make up a dance to perform for
everyone. We started it, but when everyone got back we were only halfway done,
so we went to the beach and took Kim’s boom box with us; plus we got to see the
fireworks since today is Independence Day. Then the tape started to mess up so
we had to pick another song and start over, so we ended up only performing
halfway through the song.

We left and went home today. Kim and I slept most of the
way home though. When we did get home Kim called her Mom and her Mom said she
would come and get her. Then we called Mom and Dad on the car phone to let them
know we were here, and they let us know they wouldn’t be home until late. After
Kim’s Mom came and got her Kathy and I went to the mall, got some dinner and
walked around for awhile and when we got home, Mom and Dad were already here.
Then I went to bed and had a really nice rest.

Kathy and I went to run some errands today, but before we
went anywhere Keith’s Aunt Ruth called and invited us to come over and go
swimming, since she has a pool because they were having a little get together
at her house. I met one of Keith’s cousins, Melissa there. She’s 11 years old,
but when I first saw her I thought she was like 13 or 14. After we left Ruth’s
house we had to go to the mall and meet Trista,
Kathy’s best friend. Trista and I had to try on our
bridesmaid dresses and see what alterations needed to be made, and while that
was going on Misty happened to walk in the store. So as a result we all went to
Shoney’s to eat.

Kathy and I made chocolate chip cookies today, but we had to
make two batches because the first batch got burned. See Kathy left and told me
to take them out when the timer went off and I said okay, so while I was
waiting I decided to go outside for a little while and by the time I came in
smoke was coming out of the oven. The second batch did fine though. Later on
Christopher and Angie came over and brought pizza from Papa Johns.
Unfortunately I am not too fond of Papa Johns, but I still ate some anyway.

Dear

Kathy and I went to Wal-Mart and we decided to make
chocolate chip cookies again. I also came up with the idea that we should make
our own pizza, so we decided to have everything home made, including the dough.
When we got home we made the cookies first which turned out okay. Then we each
made our own pizza, we put pepperoni, beef, and ham on them, they turned out
pretty good. For dessert we had the cookies, so that was all real nice.

We really didn’t do much today since we were supposed
camping, but it started to rain. At one point we did go to Standing Stone park, which was alright. Eventually though I got really
homesick, and told Kathy. So she let me call Mom and they decided to meet
somewhere halfway tomorrow, so I could go home.

I was happy to be home today. My Mom is teaching at
summer school so she was gone for most of the morning. I on the other hand
didn’t get up until like 1. I called Amy for a little while. We started to talk
about movies, and eventually decided we would go see, “The Nutty Professor,”
together.

Dear

I stayed home again today while my
Mom went to teach summer school. I sure
am glad I don’t have to go to summer school that would suck to have to waste
your summer like that. I mean summer is
when kids are supposed to be able to have fun and relax,
at least I thought that is why we had summer breaks from school. I mean if kids fail a grade they fail…it’s
not the teacher’s fault so I really don’t think the teacher should have to
suffer in going to teach during the summer either.

Dear

My Mom and I got up at 4 in the morning today, so we
could get up to the square to see the torch come by for the Olympics. I ended
up having to go to summer school with my Mom because she didn’t have time to
take me home. So after that was over my Mom and I went out to eat at Knickers,
then we went home and relaxed most of the day. I must say I am so glad I don’t
have to go to summer school, I mean it is summer this is the one time of year
kids have time to relax and just have fun.

I stayed home once again while my Mom went to teach
summer school. I talked to a few people on the phone including Amy and Alicia.
When Amy and I talked for a little while we decided that she could spend the
night with me tomorrow night (Friday). Then the next night we would go and see
a movie.

Dear
Journal,
Today I went to summer school with my Mom and I had to help
the kids even though I didn’t want to, I just didn’t feel comfortable arguing
with my Mom in front of them about it so I just went ahead and did it. Amy came
over around 6 today. We went outside, watched movies, and played cards. We
decided we are going to see, “Kazaam”, instead of the
other movie. Amy and I slept in the living room on the couches, but we stayed
up until about four in the morning. My cousin Sarah also stayed over tonight.

Amy and I woke up at about 11, and finished watching a
movie we started last night. Then we played cards for a little while, and then
got ready for the movies. After we bought our tickets we went to the snack bar
place and I bought a slushy, cherry flavored. Amy and I split a large popcorn, we each paid half for it. The movie itself
wasn’t really that great though.

Today after church I asked my Dad if he would fix my VCR
and he said in awhile. Then I asked my Mom and she said yes. While my Mom was
trying to fix it my Dad came in my room and started to fix it. Then both my
parents started yelling at me for my room being so messy. After my Dad hooked
the VCR up to the TV he told me I was grounded to my room and from the phone
until I cleaned up my room.

Amy was the only person that called me today and I wasn’t
allowed to talk to her. But I still spent the whole day in my room because I
refused to let anyone tell me how I should keep my room, which contains part of
my own individuality. But before I went to bed I decided to just go ahead and
get it overwith so I wouldn’t have to have another
screaming match with my parents.

After my Mom came home from school today Christy came
over for a little while. You know what though?? I seriously don’t think I like
Dan anymore, because when I called Christy earlier and he picked up I really
didn’t feel a thing! So Christy and I really didn’t do much, but play a few
games, and she didn’t leave until about

she wanted to play games and she continued to say no. Eventually she left
though.

When my Mom got home today she called and talked to Aunt
Kathy for awhile. Then she played scrabble and 2 rounds of Channel Surfing with
me. After we got through she told me she was going to visit Aunt Kathy for
tomorrow and stay overnight then come back the next day. I asked her why and
she told me because she sounded really depressed and confused and needs someone
to take care of her right now, which is also the reason I can’t go.
