Another True Story |
Years ago, one couple from my friend's church went to Africa to spread the Gospel. The couple was not familiar with local environment, so they made a fatal mistake. They travelled alone in the night though the countryside and they have one other person, their local guide travelled with them. The guide actually was a bad guy and called some bandits to rob them in the middle of the night.
When the bandits were ready to attack in the mid night, they were so surprised to see thirteen people, men and women, looked like the couple's friends, suddenly appeared around camp, and were obviously talking one by one. So the bandits fled and never came back.
Next morning, the local guide asked the couple who are those friends last night. They did not quite understand him. Later the local guide and many other people became a Christian. And the couple came back. To their surprise, there always thirteen people meet at the his home church praying for him EVERYDAY at the African midnight time.
