2. Why the Passover Day was pointed out in v.1?
The day of Jesus� death

3.Who is the main guest at this party; Jesus or Lazarus?
Jesus

4.What was the reason the party hosts prepared this party?
Thanksgiving to Jesus for the raising Lazarus from death.

5. What was the reason the guest attended at this party?
Many came to see Lazarus who was raised from death.

6. What was the Jesus� thought in attending this party?
Farewell party. He this was the last party with friends before His death in a few days.

7.How did Martha show her love for Jesus at this party?
Providing tasty dishes for Jesus.

8.How did Mary show her love for Jesus at this party?
She brought a bottle of expensive perfume and anointed Jesus� feet with it.

9.How much valuable this perfume was for Mary, other than one year wage value estimated by Judas?
Possibly whole lifesaving.
Possibly inherited from her parents( more meaningful).

10. Was it the waste of money by pouring the perfume over Jesus� feet?
Yes.

11. Why didn�t Mary mind for wasting the perfume in this way?
Genuine love wants give more.
Genuine love never regrets wasteful giving.

12. What is the meaning for a lady to undo (scattering) her hair in public?
Shame

13. Did Mary feel shame for her action on for her hair?
No. Genuine love is not conscious of the surrounding people.

14. What is the meaning for Mary to anoint Jesus� feet with the perfume and wiped them with her hair?
Humility. Total dedication with the spirit of servitude.

15. How did the disciples feel when they smelled the perfume filled the party room?
They thought Mary was wasting perfume.

16.How did Jesus feel when He smelled the perfume filled the room?
Jesus smelled the fragrance of her devotional love.

17.How did Jesus upgrade of the spiritual significance of Mary�s love action for Jesus, which Mary never anticipated?
Jesus elevated the significance of anointing with the perfume was not only for Mary�s expression of love Jesus but the anointing was for Jesus� funeral which will be remembered for wherever the gospel is preached in the whole world.

18.Which is more important; selling the perfume and helping the poor or anointing Jesus for the imminent His death?
Depending the time factor, the values of events can be changed. It is always important to help the poor.
However, it is more important to anoint Jesus with the perfume considering His death is imminent.

19.Iscariot Judas was familiar with the market price of the perfume. He was the treasure of Jesus ministry, having been being used stealing money from it. He knew the market price of Jesus and sold Him for thirty peaces of silver to chief priests. What kind of person was he?
He was the person who evaluate with the money value.

20.Why didn�t he grow spiritually in spite of that he followed Jesus for three years?
He was too much attached to money. He valued money more than anything. Money is more important than the relation with God. He loved money more than God. He never established the love relationship with Jesus. He did not understand spiritual things.
