the "fa(ct)s"

Q: Why do you have to make two web pages of techniques?
The "techniques" section allows the user to compare two techniques at a time. When you get in depth with jiu-jitsu, or any grappling art, you will realize that one technique may be a variation of the other. So I created that page so you can see it for yourself. The "techniques w/o frames" section doesn't have that option, but the images are larger.
Q: Who are your trainers?
I am trained by a friend whose friend enrolls in Brausa Jiu-jitsu, a school of Enson Inoue, a black belt fighter of PRIDE fighting championship.
I am not enrolled in a licensed Brazilian Jiu-jitsu school, but I'll probably train in college wrestling. Strange, I'm about to take it now that I'm OUT of college.
Q: Do you think Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is the most effective martial art today?
No. I don't believe it's effective in a street fight. It is not effective to use for a turd like me. But BJJ is exciting and addictive. I'd prefer one training session in BJJ over a knife defense seminar.
Q: Where did you take the "sandbox" theme?
I found it in an entry in a crossword puzzle. Then I realized playing in a sandbox is similar to grappling. You experiment new stuff on a soft surface within a fixed area. Of course, you don't get sand in your eyes in grappling, but you get sweat.
Q: What do you think of Arizona Senator John McCain's comment that beating a downed opponent is un-American?
Well, I am not an American so that's not my concern. But if he's trying to associate Americanism with moral values, then I wholeheartedly agree. So whenever I see Randy Couture or Mark Coleman delivering his awesome ground and pound, I roll my eyes in disgust. How Brazilian!
Q: Where did you get the sand background?
It's just a rag.
Q: Who are the three people in the fa(ct)s selection in the main page?
My trainers. I owe those two a lot.
Q: The negative shows there are three.
......
Q: Aren't you aware there is a misty figure between the two? The head is encircled in red.
I wasn't aware there is a Ben Stiller look-alike at the left!
