| Armbar from Mount |
Man on top (MOT) straddles on top of his opponent Man on bottom (MOB). MOT lowers his chest and spreads out his arms to keep MOB from turning him over. |
MOB pushes MOT's chest with both hands. At this point, MOT can no longer spread out his arms. MOB's arms become vulnerable, however, for an armbar. So for the first step, MOT pushes down his opponent's sternum (bone at the middle of the chest) with both hands. MOT's knees are wedged inside MOB's armpits to keep the latter from moving. |
| MOT moves his hips closer to his opponent's chest. He shall swing the left leg over MOB's head. |
| MOT grabs MOB's right arm with both hands. To keep the arm from moving, MOT puts his knees together. Thus, "pinching" the arm. |
MOT lies on to his back to hyperextend MOB's arm. To complete the technique, MOT should raise his hips to dislocate the right elbow. MOB should tap MOT to prompt him to release the hold. |
