OK guys, I�m lazy so I�m writing one version and I�m including every actor, character and show that I have an opinion on and I will post the link on both of my sites!!
Let me start by saying CONGRATS to PC!!! Finally this show is getting the recognition it deserves!!! I am so excited!! Congrats to the cast and crew as well you guys are doing such an amazing job. PC is easily the best soap on the air (IMO) Oh it�s so great, the tears are coming again lol. Congrats again to the little show that could!!! I feel like such a proud mama lol ;)
That was the highlight of my Emmy nominations experience. And the other highlight: GH was not nominated for best drama this year!!! This too is so damn deserved!!! I was screaming so loud, my friend had to cover her ears lol. I was crossing my fingers that GH wouldn�t get a nomination and sure enough they were left in the dust, all I have to say is HA HA!!!
Now onto the actor�s awards: first of all I am so upset that Becky didn�t get a nomination. She is such an amazing actress and it�s not her fault that the idiot writers can�t come up with good material for her. But what little they do give her she takes it and soars!! But ok not everyone can receive a nomination every year, spread the wealth, fine I�m all for fairness but giving Alicia a nomination is a slap in the face to every other actor out there!! I�m sure she�s a delightful girl, and I know she must work hard otherwise she wouldn�t be able to keep up as close as she does (I guess) with the great actors she works with but I haven�t seen anything on my screen that deserves an Emmy nomination. I truly do not have enough words in my extensive vocabulary to truly express my disgust with this particular nomination, so I�ll move on.
This next comment might come as a shock, but I have given it thought and I actually think it is a good thing that Steve didn�t get a nomination. (Ducking from the rotten fruit) Don�t get me wrong Steve Burton is my favorite actor, I just adore him and I am routing for him to win an Oscar one day if opportunity presents itself!! But the fact that such a big actor, such a fan favorite was (over looked, ignored, robbed etc) whatever you want to call it, the fact that he is involved in such a perfect storyline with the perfect actress. The fact that they have such great chemistry and this is the soap couple of the future blah blah blah whatever (eyes rolling) with all of that he couldn�t pick up an Emmy nomination, it�s a really nice message in my opinion. And it pains me to say this but Steve�s acting lately has been average to say the very least. His passion and emotions are frozen and he�s just so obviously �doing� his job instead of loving what he�s doing, it�s a sad thing but someone really needs to see the difference and save Steve!!! (JMO)
And I would quickly like to express my disapproval for Michael Easton not getting an Emmy Nomination. He truly deserved it, but hey, dare I say it�maybe next year!! ;)
A HUGE Congratulations to Kelly Monaco!! This girl just rocks. No matter what she�s doing her talent just shines through the screen that is when you�re not confusing her with whichever character she�s playing. :) I swear sometimes I�ll be watching PC and I�ll seriously think that Livvie is real and Kelly disappears. That is true talent, way to go Hun, you so deserve this and it�s just the first to come!!!
And of coarse Erin Hershey deserves a big congrats. She is always terrific but my favorite scene of hers to date has to be the surrender kick off. She did such an amazing job. Now I cry at everything I mean I still cry when I watch the Little Mermaid get married lol. But Erin really had me balling with those scenes. She did such an amazing job!!!! And she too truly deserves this nomination!!! In fact I�m just going to say it, the Emmy�s this year should have been devoted to PC. Every actor should have gotten a nomination, they do such amazing work, and I just love all of them!!!! And for those of you who were over looked this year, the mistake will be corrected next year ;)
Congratulations to Maurice Benard as well. I just love this guy even when �Sonny� is being so annoying, mean, controlling and arrogant Maurice just oh I can�t find the words lol. He is so magnificent and I truly hope he takes home �the gold�!!!
Now Nancy Lee Grahn: it was absolutely no surprise she was going to get a nomination (and ultimately the Emmy as well ;)) Again I am at a loss for words. Nancy has always been one of my favorites, she is so awesome!!! I am routing for her as well!!! But I do have one complaint: I really miss the �Alexis Rants� lol.
Oh and what a laugh I got when I read in SOW that GH is nominated for Outstanding Writing!! I think that speaks for itself, but I won�t worry too much about it, GH won�t win!!!
Congratulations to all of the nominees!!! This should prove to be an interesting night!!
