General Reply to a Sedevacantist Forum Moderator

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your mails in reply, and apologies for any hurt that I may have caused you by my mails.

I am "secretary" (to His Holiness Michael I) in the sense purely of the word, and am not any kind of ecclesiastical official. My function is merely to assit the Holy Father with his correspondence. I begin by this disclaimer because many have misunderstood, some evidently deliberately, as if I were some kind of "Cardinal" or something. I am not. I do not know what the future holds, but at the moment, I merely handle the Holy Father's correspondence, and nothing more.

I came to accede to His Holiness Pope Michael I in about 2004. I have been active as a "Traditionalist" (a name I do not very much like) since 1992. I became a Sedevacantist formally from September 8, 1993. In 1996, after lots of research, principally in the library of St. Peter's Jesuit Church, Bandra, Bombay, with the assistance of the late Fr. William Astbury, an English Jesuit, I had published a tract, "Repair My Church." That document is now available on the internet, along with a revised version. I will provide the links at the bottom of this mail.

I was introduced to the Internet in 1999 by a friend who happens to be a BogusOrdian. I have therefore been active on the net since 1999. Initially, I became attached to Mr. John Lane, the Australian sedevacantist, but I fell out with him over a serious ideological issue. At the time I was very grieved to be abandoned by Mr. Lane, but later I realized that he had done me a great favor, and that I had escaped from the clutches of a mendacious sectary.

When I first encountered the claims of David Bawden, I had rejected them. I was at that time influenced and wrongly so, I am ashamed to say, by Mr. Lane, to act, not as a Catholic, but as a sectary. Fortunately, after about a year of separation from Mr. Lane, Mrs. Benns wrote to me to reconsider impartially, and for the sake of Christ, I did, expecting to reaffirm my rejection, but finding to my dismay that I had been influenced to act as another sectary to reject the very Catholic principles that justify and legitimize the election of July 1990 which created Pope Michael I, formerly Mr. David Allen Bawden. I therefore submitted to His Holiness shortly thereafter, in about August 2004. The Holy Father requested me to handle his correspondence in about late 2005. I have written several webpages setting out why this election was / is legitimate, and links to the principal of these apologetical pages are provided below.

In about late 2006, I was informed by the Holy Father of difficulties being created by Mrs. Benns. He merely provided me her documents, without giving the name of the author(ess), and I wrote out a brief refutation. Over a period of time, I learned, to my surprise, of the identity of the authoress, and have interacted with both her, and her principal supporters, Mrs. Devonia Mildenhall of Western Australia and her daughter, Miss Heather Mildenhall, to disprove their claims and allegations against the Holy Father, and to try and bring them back to their senses. (I am the original author of the "Syllabus of Bennsian Errors" on the Holy Father's website exposing Mrs. Benns' schism).

I have not claimed that Mrs. Benns has not split from the Holy Father. I object to the deliberately malicious and insulting misrepresentation of the facts and derogatory misportrayal of the Holy Father as cowering and hiding from Mrs. Benns, when in fact he had taken the initiative to visit her city to confront her and to try to reason with her, for which Mr. Robert & Mrs. Diane Hunt stand witness. As for "our" viewpoint, it is already on the internet since more than a year, as part of the public record, and has not been hidden either by us or Mrs. Benns; she has been public at her website. The insulting post on the Bennsian Schism (by "Michael Grimes") has no justification whatsoever, and is merely a malicious flame and nothing other than that. There is no sincere excuse that could be made for it ("Michael Grimes"'s post), given that this information is easily available in the public realm. The link to "our" website on this issue is provided at the bottom of this mail.

Mrs. Benns has invented a whole lot of lies to justify her secession from the Pope, but the truth is that she seceded because the Holy Father refused to be guided by her "infallible superior magisterium", which is Neo-Mariavitism Moreover, both she and the Moldenhalls have never been sincere Catholics, as, from Day 1, they have refused to give up wearing pants, which is a proof of their being Feminists, all words to the contrary nothwithstanding. Women wearing pants is something I will not compromise with, as the Bible clearly forbids men and women from wearing each other's garments, the immorality called Transvestitism, a form of Sodomism.

See Deut. xxii, 5: "A woman shall not be clothed with man's apparel, neither shall a man use woman's apparel: for he that doeth these things is abominable before God" (http://www.drbo.org/chapter/05022.htm)

Pants and more so Jeans emphasize the sexual form of women, and serve to draw men — and women — into lasciviousness, cupidity, incontinence and sin.

Dear Lucio,

Thank you for your email. I must admit that time has not permitted me to directly address the posts you referred to. I shall be taking the matter up directly with the author, Miguel. He has begun to display some rash and intemperate behavoiurs and that will be dealt with. The posts concerning Afonso de Alberquerque are also of some concern. I was not aware of your standing as secretary to Pope Michael 1. I am not aware of how Miguel got the information regarding the bawden-Benns split however there does seem to be some evidence that they have split and indeed my quick research has shown that Mrs Stanfill-Benns in a rather one must say bitter tirade petulantly accuses Pope Michael of some rather ourtrageous things. I shall ask Miguel to produce the evidenc eand if he cannot I shall delete the posts. Yes, I agree we must behave in a Christian manner. I am unaware that there are any Dollingerites on this group. Would you please post something on the group that outlines the claims of Pope Michael? What kind of support does he have? Thank you for your concern.

God bless

Your Holiness,

Is this idiotic post by this tawdry twerp (Michael Grimes) not sufficient evidence to dismiss this group as another bunch of juveniles? Why should we bother with a group of people who open themselves to Feeneyites, and who are attempting to reinvent the wheel, in their stated goal to "hold a conclave"? Are these souls who are sincerely seeking, or a bunch of irreverent overgrown brats, mockers and jesters? Do they merit our attention?

I will wait to see what action the moderator will take on against this snotty misfit. Otherwise, I await your permission to exit this group.

Yours obediently,

Lucio Mascarenhas

I am reliably informed that a split has occurred in "Pope Michael"'s little "church" in Delia, KS. Rumour has it that the dispute began over an ebook written by Bawden using Benns as his amanuensis, in which Bawden inserted the name "Pope Smashups" as a kind of cipher to hold Benns up to ridicule. So incensed was Benns that she made the long trip to Bawden's home to confront him about it, but he refused to meet her and apparently was cowering in the Christ the King library the whole time. You would be welcome on this discussion group to layout clearly your claims to the papacy. You will be treated respectfully and whilst members may not initially accept your claims it would be good in the interest of unity among sedevacantists to have everyone join the discussion.
