Statement of Faith Against the Feeneyites

This is a Statement of Faith, Against the Heresy and Schism of the Feeneyites, and intended for the public.

I, Lucio Mascarenhas, do hereby affirm, proclaim, declare and confess that there is only one baptism for the salvation of souls, and that is in Christ Jesus and His Church.

Regarding the so-called exceptions to Baptism by Water, I affirm all that the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church has always taught, practised, imposed and defended, against the false opinions of heretics and schismatics: I affirm the validity of the Baptisms of Blood and Desire, as being the mystical supplying of the benefits and effects of water baptism by Christ Himself, true God and true man; I also affirm that one is saved, not by the material water, which is an inanimate creation of God, but by the mystical elements supplied by Christ Himself as part of the Sacred Ritual of Baptism in or by Water, by whichever of the three methods recognized as lawful by Holy Mother Church.

I denounce and contemn all opinions, beliefs, doctrines and teachings to the contrary, especially that of the reprobate and excommunicated Leonard Feeney, whose teachings, I affirm, flagrantly contradict the Salvific teachings of Holy Mother Church, and which contradiction is easily evident to all men of faith and good will.

As for Feeney himself, I affirm that he further condemned himself by associating himself with the apostate and satanist Roman Liberal Modernist Protestants who have usurped the Sacred Basilica of St. Peter on the Vatican, and in accordance with the Law of the Church as codified by Pope Paul IV of Blessed Memory, I affirm that no action or pretension of this Apostate sect, that of Roman Modernism, a subsect of the Apostate Liberal Protestantism arising out of Germany, has any disciplinary or moral authority over Christians whatsoever.

As much as I refuse to countenance Feeneyism, so also I refuse to countenance Semi-Feeneyism, an effort to delude and ambush Catholics by pretending to water down Feeneyism, by pretending that the question is open and has not been authoritatively settled by Holy Mother Church. I totally and categorically anathematize Semi-Feeneyism in all its forms.

So I believe, keeping to the faith, and refusing to depart from loyalty to God. So help me God.
