As a child, she was called "sparra"; a pet name or such. We spoke and shared, remembering those times. Then she confided:
"sparra" because they're ugly, little insignificant things." I couldn't believe what she was saying. Did she believe it?
So, I told her about my sparrow. The special one that I truly believe gave me a wink. It was at a time when I was feeling sort of ugly, little and insignificant.
It was only when I lifted my eyes to see three of them perched on an overhead wire, chirping without a care at all. And one winked at me. And it made me feel so good.
And I gave her a wink (and a small peck as well); I hope it made her feel good. She may or may not be still "sparra", I am unsure; but I am sparrow and perhaps you will now know why. |

Strange, how so often, the nicest things like gifts for example, come in small packages. I hope that my pages will be something like that. It is my first........attempt at flying? |

So why has a "sparrow" created a website? What would a little bird possibly have to say? |

Would it be that the least little things can matter.....a lot? A look, a touch, a word; even a wink from a sparrow. Things that on the one hand can make you feel so BIG and on the other, make you feel so very small. When you really look at things....it's a sort of livnproof. |

So again, WELCOME to where I live. In a word......Home.
Please remember to sign my guestbook below. I would appreciate your thoughts and comments; or even just to say hi. Especially if any of the links don't work or the music doesn't play properly. Click on the the little book images (these link to relevant pages) and then follow the links. Don't forget to move your mouse over some of the pictures as there might be some hidden surprises.
It is my first website, remember......hopefully a work in progress. Hopefully not too hard to navigate.......I don't think sparrows enjoy bumping into things. Haven't seen one do that yet.
