I named the ministry "Living Word" because I am striving to exalt Jesus and glorify God with each presentation. I want to accurately present material and communicate to all age groups. Each program is entertaining, thought provoking and unique.
All material has been developed by myself, after extensive study and prayerful consideration. The programs are not memorized so each will differ somewhat. I adhere to Scripture and desire to make people want to know more about it. I NEVER replace scripture but desire to be "salt" and increase the thirst for knowledge of the scripture.
Formerly I did chalk art, until allergies to the dust forced me quit in 1983. A local congregation requested a story ...I did Jocobed". Later they asked if I would do "Katie Luther" ... It has been word - of - mouth advertising that has spread since then.
In 1988 I sold the Christian Bookstore we had owned since 1973 and started devoting more time to speaking. I usually have 75 meetings per year ranging around the country.
My husband, Philip is retired and travels with me. We have an R-V and use it for travel in nice weather when we go any distance. I find as I do more retreats I fly because of distance and time.
