| Two years after my operations I began using a Fisher & Paykel MR850 humidifier. I have found it to be amazing. It has heated wires inside the tubing which creates warm air and it's saturated to prevent drying of secretions while I sleep. I can now go even longer off the ventilator during the day and sunctioning has become less frequent. On the old humidifier I could be suctioned up to fifteen times a day, and now with the MR850, I can often go days without a suctioning. |
