| Vessels Of Love
Beloved Servant Feb 21, 2007 The Lord has been expanding my horizons beyond what I could ever have imagined. He has been filling my heart with so much love for others that sometimes I think my heart will burst. I am enjoying this journey of love. In retrospect I am feeling like the most love person in the world. I know this is a God thing! Love is something the whole world pursues, it is so greatly lacking in this selfish world, a baby takes in the first kiss from its Mother, and responds to the Mothers cuddles with a gentle coo or a smile. What happens to that child when he or she grows up when they have never had that nurturing and love of a Mother? Sometimes they are even abused and neglected, which further deepens that hole in their heart. They have such a great need for love, and sometimes will search their lifetime for that one to give them what they never had. Often if they are a girl they will look for love in all the wrong places, or they get married and they look for their husband or wife to fulfill this need that only Christ can fill. Every young girl dreams of the day when she can walk down the aisle to meet the man of her dreams and they will live happily ever after, but we quickly find out that no human being can give or fill that great need, that vacuum that every human being has for love. And so what turns out to be their dream turns in to failure after failure. If it is a boy he might look for that in other relationships or he might put his heart into something he is really good at, or he might seek friendships with the wrong people and find himself heading down the wrong road. But all are looking and seeking for love, and love can be very illusive when sought from a human being. But God can fulfill that love, he can do it through us as we let His LOVE flow through us, or He can do it himself, as we sit at His feet loving Him with all of our hearts. We see so many marriages on the rocks today, because the fire went out and the two people see each others defects and the love seems to fade a way. Often in marriages one or the other party will be so needy of love they will drive the other out of the home. Because no human in them self can fill that void that the Lord has put there in every soul. He put that void there and brought about circumstances in your life to bring you to the foot of the cross, so that you would come to Him for ALL OF YOUR NEEDS. Beloved let me show you the perfect way, the way of love. Every need of love is fulfilled in Jesus Christ! Yes, so true. for God so loved the world that He Gave, His only begotten Son that whosoever would believe in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life! hallelujah! Once we received the Spirit of God in our life when we believe on Jesus Christ and receive Him as our Lord and Savior we receive His Spirit to live within us. God is love, and when we receive the spirit with in us we receive His love. Love not only becomes a reality but we have the opportunity to become as he is....Love. Oh there is so much more. Love is an indicator of how much we have grown in the Lord. Love is not something we hang on to, it is something we give away. I know that sounds strange when you are so in need of love, but I have found that the more love you give away the more you get in return. God is love, so if we give away love, His love to everyone, He gives us more to give away. It is like a seed, that grows and grows. I realize that everything about God is abundance, the problem with this concept, is that it is taught in such a way that it breeds selfishness and covetousness. It is never something you do to get, it just flows naturally. Whether it is love or money, peace, joy, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, when we give it away it comes back in abundance. But we don't do it to get it, we do it to give it away and God blesses it by abundance. It is done in love as a blessing from God. The more you give love, the more God gives more to give away, it is absolutely amazing! it is the law of sowing and reaping and it is selfishness that uses this principle for self, rather then to bless others with God's love. We are not to covet things, and we do not give to get what we covet we just let abundance flow from us, let it be a miracle of love from God to others. When we cling to things, what we most want seems very illusive, but when we let go and let God as vessels of His love it flows, and it flows and we can't give it all away because we are given more and more to give away. Mar 4:24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete it shall be measured unto you; and more shall be given unto you. I truly believe that our life as a Christian and how we lived here on earth will be measured by how much we have loved, rather then what we did, or how we did it, whether we became known or how many people we witnessed to, or how much money we gave, but rather how much we loved. You see this in 1 Corthinians 13 the love chapter, for everything is for naught unless we loved. But it all starts in our relationship with the Lord. it is amazing what is being taught today. The one equation missing in the church today is teaching the body that if we are to be the bride of Christ, we need to KNOW HIM. What person would marry someone they do not know, the relationship never gets off the ground, until you get to know someone intimately. I know when you first meet someone you look at their attributes, you might look at their family history and what they have done in their life but you do not have a real relationship until you get to know that person personally. Find out what is in their heart, what is most dear to them, what are their concerns, really listening to them. A relationship begins, and love begins to come in abundance as you become more intimate. This is not just in a partner type of relationship in but all of our relationships. All must be based on intimacy and love. Especially With the Lord I find that with my own marriage, my husband loves and me so much when I really listen to him, listen with my heart to what is on his heart. I know that this is how we need to be with the Lord, and with others then the love really begins to flow, and this is where we see our hearts beginning to open for others. We can never drum up that kind of love for others, it has to come from the Lord. And that only happens when we open up our hearts to the Lord and He to us. The word says: 1Jo 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God. 1Jo 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Wow it says that those who love are begotten of love, and that if we do not love we do not KNOW GOD, and it we love one another , God abides in us, he lives in us, and then His love is perfected in us. all because we love others. 1Jo 4:12 No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us: 1Jo 4:13 hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. I think this is the most powerful statement and so over looked. 1Jo 3:16 Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1Jo 3:17 But whoso hath the world's goods, and beholdeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how doth the love of God abide in him? 1Jo 3:18 My Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth. When we begin giving love away, we know love because Jesus Christ laid down his life for us, and so we must lay our life down for the brethren. It is all about GIVING , If when we see our brethren in need, whether near or far away, and we turn away our eyes how does the love of God abide in us? We cannot out give God, so when we cling to what we have we are turning inward to self, we need to take our self life and lay it at the cross, for we get new life from death, Christ's life in exchange for ours. There are so many that call themselves Christian because they go to a church, and they said the sinners prayer, but they have not repented of the sins in their life. They go on living as they always lived with a new name "Christian", yet Christ has not come to live with in them because they are not willing to give up their old life of sin. The word says that when we have of his Spirit we do not sin, or we do not continue in sin, how can we when the Holy Spirit is living with in us. When we walk in the Spirit we know that we are born of Him because we have of His spirit and he is the Spirit of love. That means that when the Holy Spirit lives in us, and we obey Him rather then our flesh, we know we are walking in the Spirit. Jesus Christ came to take away sin, he came that we might live, yet we must die to live. I know that sounds strange but it is true. Rom 6:2 God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein? Rom 6:3 Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Rom 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. Rom 6:5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection; Rom 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin; Rom 6:7 for he that hath died is justified from sin. Rom 6:8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him; Let us come before Him and get rid of me, myself and I, that person who is continually seeking for "Self" and separates us from God, it is SIN. lay it all done at the foot of the cross for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. It is in Him, only Him. It is walking in the Spirit not the flesh, and abiding in Him that makes us children of God. This is what separates us from receiving God's love, when we are walking in the flesh and we are self centered and self focused, love is evasive, because the Spirit of God is not living and moving in us. Don't be fooled we are saved by grace through faith, but there is now no condemnation to those who do not walk according to the flesh but walk in the spirit. Again what is flesh? It is self, it is selfishness, it is needing to have your needs met irregardless of anyone else. SELF is the block to love. Love flows when it comes from the Holy Spirit through us, but if we are worried about self, it is quickly quenched. Love is the complete opposite, love is not selfish it GIVES, and gives, until it hurts. It is true that sometimes people can take advantage if us because we are so open in love, but what I have learned is to be obedient, and the Lord takes care of those who do us wrong. We do not have to do anything but be obedient. We just forgive them and keep our heart open, and just trust the Lord to heal and to work out His will and His way. I can say that love changes people, it heals people, it moves people into a different realm then they were before they were touched by God's love through us. I have made mistakes along the way as I began this journey of love, but we learn that this is a journey and we take wrong turns sometimes or we get on the wrong path, or we stumble. We are going to make mistakes along the way but if we didn't it would not be the adventure that love is. I have to say this has been the adventure of my life, I am about the happiest person that I have ever been, it isn't that I have anything yet I have everything. Having Jesus Christ the center of my life and the love of my life and living through my life has been the greatest journey of my life. God is perfecting love in us as we LOVE OTHERS, AS WE LOVE HIM. Love is always the winner, because when we see the Lord face to face, we will see Him as we are. in LOVE. | Loving Our Neighbors As Our Self
Beloved Servant 2007 Last spring I began a series on love, and it was the beginning of an adventure into the unknown. Isn't that what faith is about? At the time I had no idea where the Lord was taking me but as I have grown in love through many trials of my faith I have grown much closer to the heart of God, and believe me His heart goes much further then America. He has taken us to Africa to reach across from West Africa to East Africa, with His love and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have to say that living in the United States has made many of us really oblivious to those around the world who suffer every day in their bodies and in their souls. How could we imagine that there are 44,000,000 orphans in Africa. 1 out of every 10 children in Africa are orphans. There are over 1,000,000 orphans just in Kenya. Our heart's desire is to see as many of these children in loving homes, and their bellies filled, and to be able to attend school and that can only happen as we reach out to see it done. How can we imagine when most of us Americans are over weight and our super markets are filled with every thing that looks good to the eye for food, yet most of the world suffers hunger, little babies to weak to open their little eyes or cry for food. Or a mother of twins letting one die because she cannot produce milk to feed both infants and has nothing to eat to even produce milk. We spend money on whatever suits us or the advertising companies lure us into, yet the rest of the world suffers so greatly, just trying to feed their families. You cannot possibly realize how dire the situation is. The Lord has been opening my heart to see lives changed to give them their only hope Jesus (Yeshua) There are thousands of refugees in Africa that are displaced because of civil war or because they have been forced out of their own homes. they have no way of making a living as we do in US so they rely on the UN or those who God has touched to help them. From Sudan in East Africa to Ghana and Cote D'Ivoire in West Africa there are refugees flooding into other countries for refuge, and most live a bare existence. He has shown me that so many orphans have been made homeless because their parents died of aids or they were too poor to feed them and sent them to the streets. We eat three meals a day many do not even get one meal a day, and at most two. Their is so much hunger and poverty in the world that we do not want to see it because it makes us uncomfortable when faced with the truth and we think it doesn't affect us. What affects us is our lack of love, of caring. The Lord knows all. There are Christian ministers all over Africa and other nations of the world that are reaching out to the poorest of poor with the gospel, and are bringing souls to Christ. but my dear ones, it takes money to continue the work God has called all of us to do, it takes prayer. If we cannot go we need to do something to see the harvest of souls and lives changed. One of the Pastors In Kenya I am blessed to make acquaintance with saw the truth and came out of Mormonism, and went door to door with the truth and they now have 118 members and many are former Mormons. Yet they only have one New Testament for 118 people, they have service in the fields. They have a poweful testimony, you can read it on our testimony page we wil be soon putting up. I love all these people with all my heart, they are dedicated, they fast and pray for souls, they give to the poor among them and suffer themselves, many are trying to feed so many orphans, and they themselves have little. My heart has expanded so much with love for all these people and some have become like my very own sons, and I am the happiest woman on earth. Because it is God loving through me, I am nothing I want to be nothing so God can be all in all. Nothing else can compare my brothers and sisters. What are we doing here in America? I think about how our many missionaries come from US to Africa to bring the gospel to the people but yet do not feed their hungry bodies, they come and tell them about the love of Jesus, and they live in nice accommodations, and eat good food while those they bring the gospel are living in the worst possible conditions. Are they showing them Jesus? Love in action? I think about: Mat 22:37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Mat 22:38 This is the great and first commandment. Mat 22:39 And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. I have to think who is my neighbor, of course my neighbor is close but what about neighboring countries? Yahweh created them before He created us if we are to get technical. Paul and the Apostles went all over with the gospel, and though it doesn't say in the word that he fed the poor and helped the needy it does say in the word. 1Sa 2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, He lifteth up the needy from the dunghill, To make them sit with princes, And inherit the throne of glory: For the pillars of the earth are Jehovah's, And he hath set the world upon them. Pro 21:13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, He also shall cry, but shall not be heard. Pro 28:27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; But he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. I think the most important thing is to remember that if we truly love the Lord , then we do what He says, we do His will. Rather then live for self. It says Mat 16:25 For whosoever would save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. Mat 16:26 For what shall a man be profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? or what shall a man give in exchange for his life? The one thing we can say about the the Lord is that He Gave. Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he GAVE his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus gave of Himself, He wasn't looking for a mega church, nor was He looking for a fancy car to take him where he wanted to go, or a multi million dollar mansion for he and his family to live in. If He was I am sure the Father would have allowed His birth to be in a palace instead of a smelly a stable, but the Lord God chose a lowly stable, and during His ministry years it says "That he had no place to lay His head" And walking those dusty roads with his disciples must have been a great challenge in the very hot sun of Israel. How do we worship God Yahweh? What is our worship, do we pour out our hearts to those He deeply loves? I believe that He hasn't done anything about the poverty around the world and in the church in other countries is because we are called to do that. Yes, we are his vessels, conduits of God's love. We are to learn God's love while here on earth. Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father, Eph 3:15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, Eph 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; Eph 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:18 may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, Eph 3:19 and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God. Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, He says the poor will always be with us, but I see a messenger of love like Mother Teresa who loved completely anyway, She Gave until it hurt that is what TRUE LOVE IS. She learned how to love like Jesus does, through living the poorest of poor. Love is sacrificing for our brothers and sisters. It is forgetting self, and it is looking to pour our hearts out as He would to those in need. What about our brothers and sisters in countries around the world that suffer persecution as well as poverty, are we to forget them and go on our merry way? We have God's servants all over the world that not only need help for their own families but will help others first instead, they need finances to reach those around them for Christ, they are much better missionaries then we are because native missionaries understand the people and their needs, and they speak the language, and they are there ready to serve. Yet they are not being helped by us over here. The churches are poor, the people have no money even if they wanted to tithe. So few churches in America even have missionary programs, so where does the money go?. We have to much and they have nothing, what a sad state of affairs to be called a Christian in America. Are we more blessed then they because we live in this country, the Lord is not a respecter of persons. And if we have Jesus Christ living with in us then wouldn't it stand to reason we would do what He would do or at least what He tells us to do? Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.of What would Jesus do? I want to hear "well done good and faithful servant." I want to be found doing the Lord's work when He returns. Even though you might not be able to go, there is something you can do, and that is get involved with the people of God who are involved in helping others to see the LOVE OF GOD. Luk 12:47 And that servant, who knew his lord's will, and made not ready, nor did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes; Luk 12:48 but he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. And to whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom they commit much, of him will they ask the more. I was reading in Isaiah 58 the blessings of reaching out to the poor and needy. This is Yahweh God's heart, Isa 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Isa 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy healing shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of Jehovah shall by thy rearward. Isa 58:10 and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall thy light rise in darkness, and thine obscurity be as the noonday; Isa 58:11 and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. Let us pursue love, let us reach out to our brothers and sisters around the world joining hands around the world for a great harvest of souls. WE ARE A GIFT OF LOVE WORLD OUTREACH!
