| Treasure in Earthen Vessel
Beloved Shoshanna Nov 27, 2005 2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves; I am the treasure in this earthen vessel. Any good that comes forth is of Me, and not of yourself. You are my chosen vessel, my vessels are for My purposes, some for honor and some for dishonor. When you wait in My Presence you will become aware of My Presence, and you lose the awareness of self, the big I becomes small in comparison in My Presence, when you see My vastness, you will see yourself as but a grain of sand in the universe, in the midst of My creation. So anything you achieve or will achieve will not be of yourself. I live in you, Christ in you the hope of glory, do nothing without this awareness. You have been created for My purposes and mine alone. You are created for relationship, your relationship with others and Mine. Your relationships are a type of what I desire with you, marriage being the divine union. When you remove yourself from abiding in My Presence, and your thoughts stray to self and the world around you, We are no longer ONE, a divine union, and your words no longer are words of life but are tainted by the flesh. You are not able to produce fruit in yourself or others, because My ife is not there. This is why I tell you to abide continually in Me. When you cling to the Me, My purposes are fulfilled in you. You will take in My life, as oil into your vessel, and you need much oil. Matt 25:4 Many teach the commandments of men, they will teach My word without life and no change occurs in those that hear because the word went forth without life. My word gives light, the more of My word you take in, the more light there will be to dispel the darkness. It is like opening a curtain to the sun, and a burst of light comes forth, and fills the room, but when you abide in My Presence, sitting at My feet, enjoying My Presence it is like getting plugged in, and you have continual light that fills the room endlessly. Keep yourself plugged into Me, and your thoughts always on Me, rather than self or on the world, and the events in the world and You will remain in My Presence. Do not think you are something when you get revelation from My word, or through your quiet times with me, for you will soon become like the pharisee's full of self righteousness, elevating yourself above others because I have given you the gift of wisdom or knowledge, for all knowledge is of Me and not of yourself. Do not think yourself more highly than others. For you too were made of the dust of the earth, you are My earthen vessels, and you must take the lowest seat as servant of all. When you stop seeing yourself as My vessel, though you are spiritually seated in heavenly places, your fleshly mind will elevate itself to a position over others, you will think you have arrived, that you are something you are not, and this is not My way nor my will. Gifts have been given unto men and various ministries in My church, but every good gift comes from above from the Father of lights, it is all of Him and not of you. Do not let pride come and lead you to destruction, for so satan was an angel of light with great beauty and wisdom, but set his self up to have a heart like Mine, and so he fell, and great was his fall, so it will be with those who enter into pride, by elevating their status to be looked upon by men. Abide in Me, that You may fulfill My purposes, and be humble and pliable in My hand. Rom 9:22 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction: Rom 9:23 and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory, |
