In fact our body and our central nervous system are so structured that the enlightened state is the most natural experience to us. Today because of so many factors we have lost our state and that is why beings like Bhagavan and Amma are here to push us back into our natural state. Unfortunately we have made enlightenment a thing of the past and we have our own weird imagination of how Buddha and Christ lived. It would be difficult for us to conceive that if Buddha and Christ were living today they would be functioning like any one of us. And secondly nature or God wouldn�t produce something if it is not for everyone to reach it. Always at the service of my beloved Amma and Bhagavan." - Sri Anandagiri July of 1987, Bhagavan placed this mystical gold ball, as an etheric seed or beejum, in the crown chakra (Brahmarandhra) of one of the boys at the school. Soon thereafter other school children also received this gold ball initiation. What happened because of this phenomenon was that a wave of enlightenment started spreading like wild fire in Satyaloka. Bhagavan had to withdraw the phenomenon because the place was not ready for it. The children who were given the gold ball initiation were elated with the results but the time was not yet at hand for the rest of the world to receive this gift. As young adults, six of these students would become the first spiritual students of Bhagavan who had by then closed the school to start his world wide spiritual mission. Sri Anandagiriji pictured above was one of them. Bhagavan inaugurated the Foundation For World Awakening, now known as The Golden Age Foundation. Receiving the gift of the gold ball initiates a two-phased process that unfolds automatically. In the first phase the consciousness, intelligence, truth, power & bliss carried by the gold ball eventually establishes the participant in what is called a permanent state of witness consciousness. In this state you are no longer bound by your mind & separate ego. You become free of your personal suffering. Your creativity, focus, joy and zest for life, and your healing powers will be greatly magnified. In the second phase the intelligence of gold ball initiation establishes you in a permanent state of Christ consciousness or Cosmic oneness. The student who has journeyed this far in the gold ball diksha process may truly be called the Auspicious One. Only Bhagavan and his wife Amma know exactly how this gold ball process works. It is not really important to know how it works. What is important is that about 2000 individuals who have now undergone this process known as Mukti Diksha know from their own direct experience that it does work. Mukti Diksha is initiation into spiritual freedom, where you are permanently established in union with your Higher Sacred Self.
