I was reared in a godly home by parents who desired to train my twin sister - Rachel, and I to love the Lord and to serve Him out of love - not because we had to, but because we wanted to. My mother had been raised Pilgrim Holiness, and was very troubled by the rebellion she saw in her teenage friends, who couldn't 'wait till they turned 18' to be able to do what they wanted to do! She realized that the teaching of modesty and holy living was being presented as merely church doctrine, rather than the principles of the Word of God as set forth in Scripture. After searching the Bible for herself, she began to teach us why we should dress modestly and not desire the things of the world. That it is a matter of obedience to the Word of God, and not merely personal preference for dressing modestly, and not going after the world's fashions in hairstyle, make-up, jewelry & music.
She desired that in every facet of our lives we would live to please the Lord. I am so thankful for the Word of God and for His grace! He not only provides wondrous saving grace, but keeping grace as well! I was born again at the age of 5, love living for the Lord and desire to share His glorious life and joy with others!! I was homeschooled and attended Christ For the Nations in NY and TX, graduating in 1991, with a diploma in Practical Theology. I had wanted to serve the Lord in Nigeria or Guatemala, but neither door opened. I was blessed to spend 9 months in Mexico with Calvary Commission based in Hidalgo, TX. Six months were spent in Reynosa, Mexico, at the Josiah & Bethany Home (the orphanage in honor of the late Keith Green's children who died in the plane crash with him) working with the precious little Mexican children. January - March, we were in Mexico City, helping to establish a new church there - Iglesia de Esperanza (Church of Hope). We also worked with the street children (most of whom were high on sniffing glue) and ministering in the weekly coffee house and drama ministry. I am so glad for the opportunity to be there, though the living conditions were unlike anything I'd ever experienced!

Upon returning home, I worked with the youth group in a local church, taught K-3rd in a private Christian school, cared for elderly people in their homes, and worked as a professional dressmaker. August 7, 2004, I married the love of my life - Chuck Wilson. He is an inependent Pentecostal Holiness preacher with a heart for missions and preaching the whole counsel of the Word of God. Our romance was scripted by the Master of Love Himself, and I am still overwhelmed that God should have created and reserved me for such a godly man! It certainly pays to commit one's way unto the Lord and allow Him to guide and direct! He never makes a mistake when He brings two people together in His love! We make our home in NE Oklahoma, where Chuck is self-employed as a general contractor. I am so proud of his work! A spirit of excellence is clearly seen in all he does! We attend a Pentecostal Holiness church and love serving the Lord there together with others who desire to please the Lord in every facet of their lives!
July 1, 2005, the Lord blessed our lives with a precious baby girl - Hannah Rose! She weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and measured 20 1/2" long with light brown hair and gorgeous blue eyes like her Daddy! She was born at home with her daddy & a midwife attending. Hannah Rose is such a happy baby, growing and developing rapidly. Her grandpa (maternal) in WV, and grandma (paternal) in KS are both very fond of her and only wish they lived closer to watch her grow up! We are so thankful for the opportunity to train her up in the way of the Lord! The greatest desire of our hearts is that she would come to know the Lord at an early age and love God so much that she will not want to do anything to disobey or displease Him!

February 12, 2007, the Lord blessed us with a second baby girl - Sarah Ruth. She weighed 8 lbs, 10 oz. and measured 20 1/2" long. She was born with a full head of dark curly hair, which she has lost none of. She has blueberry eyes like her sister. Chuck and my twin sister were my attendants, and everything went great!! It is such a joy to have two precious daughters! God is so good!
