the bloodgiver {bloodgiver series}

winter davis is marko's bloodgiver (she freely and willingly lets marko feed from her blood supply without killing her or turning her vamp.) she's mortal, not yet a legal united states adult at seventeen years old. she cares deeply for marko, and perhaps even loves him, but whether she will let him turn her - and whether they will get over themselves and be a couple - is undecided.
{history}
winter met marko two years ago, when she was fifteen. he almost killed her, but winter's boyfriend at the time stopped him. since marko didn't get the full dose that he needed, his mysterious vampire disease made him double over right in front of winter. bleeding from the two holes in her neck, she almost stayed to help marko, but her football-player boyfriend pulled her back and away from the sick stranger.
winter ended up becoming marko's bloodgiver (and friend) when her ex-boyfriend tried to kill marko...and almost killed winter. winter and her ex decided that marko was coming between them (which he had, she couldn't get her mind off him and her ex didn't want any part of it) and they broke up, he walked away from the scene leaving his ex-girlfriend and her newfound soul mate behind. {the fanfiction for the bloodgiver history will be up soon, as well as the rest of the bloodgiver series}

the sister {fire series}

kylie never gave herself the time to mourn the loss of her younger brother, marko. it shattered her world when he was kidnapped - and never came back. since then, about two years ago, she's been obsessing over marko and his return, trying to piece together clues and evidence, trying to find him. kylie is engaged to be married, and the search for her brother is slowly wearing down her relationship - her fiance doesn't have faith that marko will be found. the rest of her family doesn't either, they keep telling her "it's been two years, kylie, he's gone..."
...but she won't give up. not until she either finds him - or lays his soul to rest.
