Chapter One - With Friends

Lillian A.K.A. Lily Marie Evans was sitting at her desk listening to her sister Petunia Anne Evans yap away on how she was going to be the most popular girl in her new school because she had just bought a lifetime supply of nail polish and hair spray.
Like that�ll work thought Lily. Petunia was probably the most ugliest girl at her school. Nothing, absolutely nothing could make Petunia pretty. Petunia had skinny figure, not slim, skinny. She had a long neck, which came to a narrow face with purple eyes, which were from expensive contacts that she begged her mom for. Her hair was thin and blonde, the kind of blonde where you can tell that it was dyed. Besides, you could see Petunia�s red roots, which clashed horribly with the metallic blonde hair dye.
On the other hand, Lily was well, beautiful. Not that she tried to be, though. It just came naturally. Lily had a perfect figure even though she was only eleven. Her red hair was silky and smooth, and it came down to her waist and flipped out. Lily was proud of her hair. She had been growing it ever since she was five. Lily had a perfect face, not too chubby and not too skinny. And her eyes. Lily�s eyes were the most dazzling things you could ever see. They were a bright green, and no, they were not contacts, although Lily could have gotten the expensive ones like Petunia.
You see, the Evans were rich. Lily�s father was the owner of chain of stores called Bina Bana, which carried only expensive designer clothes and other items. So naturally, he made a lot of money.
As Petunia started to lecture Lily on how beautiful she was going to be, Lily�s phone rang. She shot her hand out towards it and picked it up.
�Hello� she said.
�Hello� said the other person on the line. Lily instantly recognized the voice as her best friend Annie Sullivan�s.
�You want to come over?� Annie asked. �Mary�s going to be there.� She said.
�Sure.� Lily replied.
Lily put the phone back down and she heard a little click.
�I�m going over to Mary�s.� Lily told Petunia.
Lily got out of the blue and pink rolling desk chair she was sitting in and walked over to the door.
�See you later, sis.� Lily said.
Lilly�s flip-flops flipped and flopped as she walked down the giant staircase.
�I�m going over to Annie�s, I�ll be back for dinner.� Yelled Lily.
�Sure honey, bye.� Her mom said, as she emerged from her office.
Lily only had to walk for about a minute to get to Annie�s house. Her, Annie, and Mary all lived on the same block, in the area of town where all the wealthy people lived. Lily rang the doorbell. Almost instantly, it was opened by Lily�s other best friend, Mary Sandlin. Mary Sandlin was very pretty, in Lily�s opinion. Her skin was just a tad lighter than Indians, and she had big brown eyes. Her hair was long and black. She was also eleven like Lily. Annie Sullivan was very different from Lily and Mary. Annie had thick brown hair that fell to her shoulders. Her eyes were a dark blue that she was very fond of. Oh, she was also eleven too. The three of them were planning to go to Lark Creek Middle School for girls, and they could hardly wait.
Lily and Mary headed up to Annie�s room. Annie�s room was purple and yellow, while Lily�s room was blue and pink, and Mary�s room was bright green and dark blue.
�So, what do you guys want to do?� asked Annie.
The three girls sat in silence for awhile then Annie said �I know, let�s have a swim in my pool!�
Lily and Mary thought that it was a good idea, so they ran home to go get a bathing suit and put it on. When Lily stepped in the front door, her mom was reading a magazine called �Look younger than Forty�.
She closed the magazine and said to Lily, �back so soon?�
�No� replied Lily.
�I�m just putting on a bathing suit because we are going swimming in Annie�s pool.� Her mother nodded and Lily proceeded up to her room. When Lily finally got to her room, she opened her dresser and dug through her many bathing suits until she found the one she was looking for. I was one of her most prized possessions. It was a bright green bikini with a halter-top back and black swirls all over. When Lily was satisfied, she grabbed a black sleeveless sundress as a cover up. She dashed over to Annie�s house, but this time went strait to the back yard.
Annie was already there, wearing a yellow tan-kini with dark blue stripes. She motioned for Lily to come over, and she did. The two girls waited patiently for Mary to come. About five seconds later, the heard the flip-flopping of Mary�s fuzzy pink flip-flops. Mary emerged from the front of the house wearing a plain pink tan-kini with short bottoms. Lily and Annie jumped into the pool, and Mary did the same. They stayed in the pool for about an hour, then came out soaking wet.
�Let�s dry off.� Mary suggested, so they did.
The three girls lay on lounge chairs until Annie�s older sister Cassandra came outside to let their little dog named Missy out.
�Uh, you guys, it�s about five o clock.� She said.
�Oh no� said Lily. �I have to go.�
�By Annie, by Mary.� She said as she pulled on her black cover-up.
When Lily arrived home, she ran up to her bedroom and got into the shower. When she was finished taking a shower, she put on what she had been wearing earlier, which was stretchy black shorts and a stretchy black tank shirt with her black flip-flops.
When Lily stepped out of her room she heard humming. That�s odd. She thought. As she walked past Petunia�s bedroom she peeked in. To her surprise, Petunia was wearing a dress.
�Uh Petunia, why are you wearing a dress?� asked Lily.
�Uh, it�s dads birthday.� Replied Petunia obnoxiously.
Omigod she�s right. Lily thought.
�How could I forget.� She mumbled to herself.
She dashed to her room and opened her huge walk in closet. Lily selected a silk mini skirt that was the same color a her eyes, a white silk tank shirt, a zip-up light silk sweater that was also the same color as her eyes, and white sandals. She dried her hair and clipped two green butterfly clips in her hair. �Perfect.� She thought. She stepped out of her room. The first thing she saw was Petunia standing downstairs looking bored and unhappy. She was probably unhappy because she was wearing such an atrocious outfit. Petunia had selected a purple linen dress, which flared out at the knees, making her look skinnier than she actually was. She was also wearing a matching jacket, but the jacket barely made it down to her stomach. She was wearing purple pumps, but they were so high that she had to hobble around like a penguin. Her hair was a mess. She had obviously tried to crimp it, but since it was so thin, it hadn�t worked the way it was supposed to.
Her mother, on the other hand, looked as beautiful as Lily. Her red hair was pulled up into a bun, and several curly strands hung down. She was wearing a long white cotton dress with roses embroidered on the bottom and around the neck. She was wearing red high-heel shoes. A white sweater was tied around her neck. Her dad was wearing khaki pants and a striped shirt with a collar. He was wearing fancy summer shoes, and his brown hair was combed neatly to one side.
�C�mon Lily.� Said her mother.
�We are eating dinner at Pasta Amore.�
Lily, her parents, and Petunia got into the shiny red convertible and drove to Pasta Amore. When they entered the restaurant the owner of the restaurant instantly greeted them with a funny accent.
�Meester Evans, Meeses Evans, Mees Lily, Mees Petunia, how good to seee you all.� He said.
Then a waiter showed them to their seats. Lily noticed that directly behind them was a group of loud and obnoxious boys. The only thing was, Lily happened to think that one of these boys was cute.
One of them had long black hair and hazel eyes with juts a couple of whiskers, the beginning of a beard.
The second boy was short and had blonde hair, and Lily noticed he seemed kind of shy.
The third boy was skinny and had messy jet-black hair. His eyes were an aqua blue.
The last boy had perfectly combed brown hair with warm chocolate eyes. Lily thought he was cute.
********The Boys Point of View********
�Who�s that cute muggle girl?� Sirius muttered to James.
�If she�s a muggle, how am I supposed to know who she is, being that I am a wizard about to go to Hogwarts and have never seen her before.� James replied.
Just then the four boys stopped talking to see Lily bend down to pick up her dropped fork, revealing her uh� lowER back. AKA @$$
�She�s all mine.� Sirius declared.
�No�she�s mine.� said James
�Mine!�
�Mine!�
�Miiiiiine!� Sirius sang this in a very high note, causing stares from people in the restaurant.
�Um, boys, I believe that is impossible, because she is mine.� Remus said in a fake serious voice.
�Shut up Moony.� Said Sirius
During this whole argument Peter said nothing.
***************************************Lily and her family enjoyed a pleasant dinner aside from those rude boys who kept pointing like she was an exhibit at a museum. When the Evans arrived home their dad suggested that they put comfortable clothes on then open presents. The tradition was that on each person�s birthday that person would get lots of presents, but then the other members of the family would get something small.
Lily changed back into her black shorts and shirt, and pulled her hair into a ponytail.
As she was walking down the stairs she caught a glimpse of Petunia in her dark blue jean shorts and orange camouflage T-shirt.
When Lily got to the bottom of the stairs she walked into the family room. The first she thing she saw was six present boxes. Three were for her dad and the other three were for Lily, Petunia, and their mother. . The four sat down on the couch and their dad started to open his presents. Lily had gotten her dad a green and black sweater made of wool. Petunia had gotten him a book on politics, which Lily found very boring. And lastly, their mom had given him two tickets to a play in New York City.
Petunia, Lily, and their mom had picked names out of a hat for the person they would get a SMALL present for. Petunia had gotten her mom a note pad with a cover made out of leather. Lily had got Petunia, and she gave her the new �Top Hits� C.D. And finally, the mother had given Lily a sparkly blue diary. Her exact words were �Use it well.�
Those words repeated over and over in Lily�s head as she climbed into bed that night.
�Use it well.� �Use it well.�

Chapter 2, Lily�s Birthday

Two days later, Lily woke up realizing that it was her eleventh birthday. As she got dressed into her jean shorts and green tank top, she sang to her self the newest most popular song, except instead of saying Shorty, she said Lily. It sounded like this.
�Go Lily, it�s your birthday, we gonna party like it�s your birthday, We gonna sip bacardi like it�s ya birthday and we don�t give a **** if it�s your birthday.�
Lily knew that her parents hated that song, but Lily thought it was great, and it was popular, so naturally, everyone liked it. Lily practically ran down the stairs and skidded into a halt when she got into the kitchen. Her mom, dad, and Petunia were sitting at the table laughing and talking.
�Oh, good morning Lily.� Said her mother casually. Lily was about to burst into tears. It�s my birthday, why are they ignoring me she screamed in her head.
�It�s okay mom, I don�t want breakfast, I�m not hungry.� Said Lily.
Her mom didn�t even look up as she said �Okay.�
Lily ran up the stairs and into her room, slammed the door, and jumped onto her bed sobbing.
After about five minutes of crying, she picked up her head and heard a tapping noise coming from the window. She slowly picked herself up and walked to the window. To her surprise, there was an owl outside her window. She reluctantly opened the window to let the owl inside. Most people would not have let an owl into their bedroom, but Lily had a gift with animals.
The owl was holding a letter that said her name on it. Thinking it was a birthday card; she ripped it open eagerly. To her surprise, it wasn�t a card, but a very formal letter.
�Who could this be from.� She said under her breath.

Lily stared in awe at the letter in her hands. Her, Lily, a witch? She just shook her head and hid the letter in her desk. She would discuss it with her parents later. Remembering her parents brought her to tears again. She brushed them aside and decided to go visit Mary. She could always understand all Lily�s problems.
Lily put on her Puma sneakers and walked across the street to Mary�s house. She rang the doorbell and waited. Finally, Mary�s mother opened the door.
�Hello Lily, how may I help you?� she asked.
�Um, Is Mary available?� asked Lily.
�Oh, I�m sorry Lily. She and Annie went to buy an outfit for Mary�s baby cousin.�
With that she closed the door in Lily�s face and left her there.
Lily walked down the block and sat down on the curb. She hugged her knees and cried into them. Suddenly she noticed someone jogging in the distance. As the person got closer, she noticed that it was one of the rude boys from the restaurant. The one with the messy hair, in fact. He stopped and looked at her. Their eyes locked for about five seconds, then he trotted over to her.
�Hey, who are you?� he asked.
Lily just sat there.
�Hey, are you alright?� he asked again as he waved his hand in front of her face.
�My names James Potter, and I just moved here.� He continued.
She picked her face up just a teeny bit, careful not to let him see her tearstreaked face, but it was too late. He had saw.
He sat down next to her.
�Why are you crying?� he asked
Lily couldn�t stand it any more. She poured the whole story out to him.
He put a comforting arm Around her.
�What school do you go to?� he asked.
�Well, I just got accepted to somewhere called Hogwarts.� Replied Lily.
James eyes became so wide that they could of popped right out.
�I, I, I�m going there too.� He stuttered
�Really, mabye you cold help me, I have no idea where to buy all those supplies� said Lily
�That�s easy, Diagon Alley. My brother Sam goes to Hogwarts too.� Said James
�That�s great. Why don�t you meet me in Diagon Alley next Thursday, and we can shop for all the supplies.� Suggested Lily.
�Sure.� Replied James
�I gotta go now, my parents will be wondering where I am. Oh, and by the way, who�s your friend with the brown hair?� asked Lily
�Oh, you mean Remus?� said James
�Yeah, anyway, I kinda�like him.� Said Lily. Her face turned scarlet red.
She than ran all the way home. She couldn�t believe that she just told a stranger who she liked. Mean while�
James� heart sunk when she said those four words. �I kinda like him.�
HE liked her. She was the most gorgeous girl he had ever seen, and she was extremely nice. He vowed to himself to be caring and kind to her.
Meanwhile�
Lily ran down the block to the front of her own house. She wiped her eyes one last time. She knew Petunia would tease her if she came in with red eyes. She took a deap breath and stepped in.
SURPRISE!!!!!
Lily�s jaw dropped.
In the entry foyer in her house stood her parents, Petunia, Annie, Annie's older sister Cassandra, Annie's parents, Mary, Mary's parents, three girls she did not recognize, and an adult she didn�t recognize, and three of the four boys Lily saw at dinner the shy one, the cute one, and the one with the beginning of a beard. She wondered where the other boy, James, was.
Lily finally understood. Her parents really weren�t being mean to her. They wanted to make her feel like nobody cared, then surprise her.
Lily rushed over to Annie and Mary. Annie was wearing turquoise slides, khaki shorts, and a one strap sparkly turquoise tank shirt. Half of her hair was up and the other half was down. She was wearing a stretchy turquoise headband too. Mary was wearing her fuzzy pink flip-flops, a Hawaiian T-shirt, and yellow shorts, which matched the pineapples on her shirt. Her hair was up in a full ponytail, with about five pink clips clipped everywhere. She hugged them both (No, not like that) and stepped back. She walked over to her parents and said
�You really surprised me. By the way, who are those three girls in the corner over there?�
�Oh, that is your cousin Gerri and her friends from her school.� Replied her mom.
�Why don�t you go introduce yourself.� Suggested her dad
Lily shrugged her shoulders and said �Sure.�
She approached the three girls and said �Hello.�
�Oh hello.� Said one of the girls.
�My name�s Gerri, I am thirteen and I am your cousin.� Said Gerri. Gerri amazed Lily. She had long Blonde/brown/red hair that reached just above her waist. Gerri�s eyes danced with excitement. Lily had the feeling that Gerri knew something that she didn�t, and Lily didn�t like it one bit. Gerri was starting to get a little creepy.
Her other friend spoke up.
�My name is Bryanna Burns. I am also thirteen, and I go to Gerri�s school too.� Said Bryanna.
Lily took in Bryanna�s appearance. She had wavy dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. Her eyes looked kind and welcoming, she looked like the kind of person you would go to if you were sad or upset about something.
The last friend now spoke.
�Hi, I�m Nicola Radcliffe, and I have a sister the same age as you, her name is Liz.�said Nicola
Lily looked at Nicola. She had strait thick golden reddish brown hair and silvery blue eyes. Lily had the feeling that Nicola knew something Lily didn�t, and it was probably the same thing Gerri knew. Lily planned on asking her later.
Gerri was wearing orange sandals, orange shorts, and a black tube-top with an orange butterfly on it. Her long hair had orange streaks in it. Brianna was wearing white running sneakers with a red stripe on them, light jean shorts and a red tank top. Her wavy dark brown hair crimped, and a couple strands were pulled back. Nicola was wearing bright green sandals, a bright green tight T-shirt and black jean shorts. Her thick hair was down, but she had braided a couple strands and put beads on the end. Lily thought they looked marvelous.
Everyone chatted for awhile then Lily�s mother called out �Cake Time!�
�Alright!!� cried all the boys.
Everyone walked over to the large dining room. Lily sat at the head of the table, with Mary and Annie on either side. Lily�s mom carried out the cake, and everyone started to sing the famous �Happy Birthday.� Lily asked her mom if it would be alright if everyone could eat their cake on the deck outside.
�Sure.� Replied her mom.
As Gerri started to walk out the door, Lily called out �Gerri, wait!� Gerri spun around.
�I need to ask you something.� Said Lily.
�Sure, anything.� Replied Gerri.
�I have the feeling that you know something that I don�t.� Lily told Gerri.
�Well�� started Gerri �It�s kind of a long story. Why don�t we go sit down somewhere.�
�We can go in my room.� Said Lily
The two girls walked up the stairs and into Lily�s room.
�Holy Cr*p.� muttered Gerri under her breath.
�What?� asked Lily
�Oh, nothing, it�s just that well�your room is so big.� Said Gerri �And nice.�She added.
�Well, my mother hired an interior designer to decorate it. It�s not really my taste, but hey, what can I say, it�s nice.� Said Lily
�So, anyway, what did you want to tell me?� asked Lily.
�Oh, wait, don�t tell me yet, I want to show you something first.� Said Lily.
Lily walked over to her desk and opened the drawer. She pulled out the letter and handed it over to Gerri.
�Oh, I already know.� Said Gerri.
Since Lily had a confused look on her face, Gerri explained.
�You see, my mom can kind of see into the future, kind of like that wacky teacher at school, her name is Hajari Trewranly. So, naturally, my mom knew that you are going to Hogwarts this year.� Said Gerri.
�Oh.� Said Lily. �That�s it?�
�Yup.� Replied Gerri.
�I better go downstairs, everyone is waiting for me, we are going swimming in my pool.� Said Lily. �First, though, I have to change into my bathing suit.� She continued.
Gerri walked out the door. Lily opened her dresser and selected a green tankini with blue stars on it. She put her hair in one big braid, and walked downstairs.
Lily walked out side. She took a step backwards. Her backyard was packed. She took in everyone�s appearance.
Gerri was wearing an orange and black polka-dotted bikini. Brianna was wearing a red one-piece, and Nicola was wearing a black tankini. Mary was wearing a purple and pink striped one piece, and Annie was wearing a yellow bikini. Gerri�s mom was wearing a blue flowery bathing suit with a skirt. She was talking to Lily�s mom, who was wearing a navy blue one-piece bathing suit. Annie and Mary�s parents were sitting down at a table enjoying the hotdogs that Lily�s dad was making. The boy with the messy hair had finally showed up, and he was wearing black and blue trunks. He pushed the boy with the start of a beard into the pool, and he was wearing boxers that said �Kiss me, I�m Irish.� The shy boy was wearing orange trunks, and he hadn�t taken off his T-shirt yet. Lily�s eyes wandered over to the cute one. He was wearing green trunks, and he was dangling his feet over the edge of the pool. Petunia was in the pool wearing a one-piece purple bathing suit, and she was flirting with the cute one! And last but not least, Annie�s older sister Cassandra was wearing a rainbow tankini and swimming laps in the pool.
What is Petunia doing thought Lily.
"You look like you're feeling better,"someone said behind her.She turned around, and saw that it was James. He was not feeling to good, because he saw her watching "the cute one."
"Yeah, er...thanks for, er...well, thanks." said Lily
Lily then walked up to Annie and Mary and they all jumped into the pool. After about an hour everyone had left, and Lily had showered and put on a red T-shirt and navy blue gym shorts. She grabbed the letter out of her desk and walked into her parents study and said �Mom, Dad, I have something to show you.�
�Sure honey, what is it?� asked her mom.
Lily pulled the letter out from behind her and handed it to her parents. After looking it over her dad said, �My sister was a witch. You know that lady with the blue flowery bathing suit? Do you wonder how she got here? She used a wizard way of traveling.�
�Oh, I�m so proud. We have a witch in the family.� Said her mom. �But one question.� Continued her mom. �Where are you going to buy all these things?�
�Oh, I know all about that.� Said Lily.

Chapter 3 Diagon Alley
***************************************
One week later Lily woke up and looked at her mini calendar. Today was the day she would go to Diagon alley with that boy, James Potter and his friends. She quickly got dressed into a khaki skort and Black halter-top. She pulled her long red hair into a bun with a couple loose strands hanging down. She ran down the steps two at a time. For breakfast she ate a banana and a piece of toast. She pulled on her black strappy sandals and walked to the front door. As soon as she got there, the doorbell rang. There stood James his friends and his parents.
�Hi.� She said to James. �You know what, you never told me your friends names.� She continued.
�Oh, well that�s Sirius.� He said, pointing to the one with a couple whiskers. �That�s Remus.� He continued, pointing to the one with blonde hair. �And that�s Peter.� He said rather lazily, pointing to the short and chubby one.
"Oh, thats my brother Sam, he is thirteen." continued James.
�Well that explains a lot.� Said Lily. �So, how are we getting there?� she asked.
James�s father spoke up. �Oh, we are taking a muggle car into London.� He said.
�What�s a muggle?� asked Lily.
�Non Magic folk, deary.� Said James�s mother. �Now if all of you would get into the car.� She continued.
Sirius, James, and Remus all clambered into the back of the minivan, leaving Peter Sam and Lily to the individual seats in the second row. The trio in the back were whispering among themselves. Lily caught some of their conversation. She caught �Platform, dungbomb, score.� Lily thought to herself �What�s a dungbomb.�
The minivan screeched to a halt in front of a bunch of stores in London.
�There it is, There it is� screamed all the boys. �There is the Leaky Cauldron.�
Lily saw it too. It was a brass door that said �The Leaky Cauldron� in shiny white letters. Lily noticed that they were the only ones that seemed to see it. She followed the Potters into the restaurant/pub/hotel. To her surprise, they continued to the back where there was a brick wall. Mr. Potter took out what looked like a wand. He tapped some bricks and they started to move around, finally stopping. Lily gasped. There in front of her was what looked to be like a wizard town.
�First Stop Gringotts.� Said Mrs. Potter.
When they reached Gringotts they all split up. Mr. Potter took James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter. Mrs. Potter took Lily and Sam.
As Mrs. Potter went to get help from a (sorry, I forget what they are called) Lily started to strike up a conversation. �So, do you know Gerri Malfoy/Evans?� she asked Sam.
To her surprise, Sam started to blush. �Y-y-yes.� He stuttered. Lily decided that that was all he wanted to say on the topic, so she just stayed silent.
�Alright, dears. Lily, you have money, right? Yes, very well. See that machine over their, put your money in and it will come out in wizard money. When you are done, step outside and wait for us. Sam, come with me, we need to take some money out of your account for your schoolbooks and all.� Said Mrs. Potter
Lily nodded and walked over to the machine. She read the sign, which said:
One dollar equals two Galleons
Fifty cents equals two Sickles
Twenty five cents equals one Knut
Lily dumped in all her money her dad had given her and waited a couple of seconds. Finally, the machine spit out fifty galleons, seventy-five sickles, and three Knuts. She dumped it into her moneybag and walked outside and waited.
After about five minutes Mr. Potter and the four pranksters emerged from the bank. Lily heard Sirius say, �Did little Peter Weter Pumpkin Eater throw up?� James and Remus chuckled, but Peter just said something to Mr. Potter and walked towards the lavatory.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Mrs. Potter and Sam soon emerged and Peter came back. The group proceeded on. Mrs. Potter suggested that they go get their wands, so she took James, Lily, Sirius, Remus, and Peter to get their wands, while Mr. Potter took Sam to the Apothecary to get medicine for his cat, Shadow. When Lily and the gang got in Ollivanders, They all sat down. Suddenly an elderly man emerged from the shadows.
�Good Afternoon.� He said in a low whisper. �I see you have all come to buy your first wands.� He continued. Five heads nodded. �Very well then, ladies first.�
Lily got out of her chair and walked up to Mr. Ollivander. He started taking her measurements.
�Which hand is your wand hand?� he asked.
�ER�my right.� Replied Lily.

Lily barely had time to hold it when it was yanked out of her hands.
�How about this one.� He said as he pulled a wand out of a box.
�Willow, ten and a quarter inches long, one hair of a unicorn tail.�
This time, Lily felt a warmth spread throughout her body.
�Ah ha, this is the wand for you, Ms. Evans. That will be seven galleons.� Said Mr. Ollivander.
�Thank you sir.� Lily said timidly.
Remus went next, and he ended up with an Oak, sixteen inches, containing one hair of a wolf�s tail.
James was second. He ended up with Mahogany, eleven inches, containing one hair of a stag�s tail.
Sirius went third, and he got a Maple, seven inches, containing one hair of a dog.
Lastly, Peter got a Beech-wood, nine inches containing a hair from a rat.
Next they headed to Madame Malkins Robes for al Occasions. The lady there gave each one a stool to stand on, and five attedants came out to measure them. Lily got a young lady with curly brown hair.
�Hogwarts, Dear?� she asked.
�Yes.� Replied Lily.
After Madame Malkins, they went to Flourish and Blotts for their books. Lily was amazed. There were like millions and millions of books there! Mrs. Potter told them to take out their list of books that they would need, and Lily had never noticed the list before. I will leave you children on your own, I need to look for a cook book.
Lily wandered off to get her books, then paid for them. She went to the front of the store where Mrs. Potter was waiting.
�Let�s see.� She said to herself. �Oh yes, you still need a cauldron, and animals.�
After Lily and the gang got their cauldrons, they headed to The Pet Store. Lily selected a tiny red/orange kitten that she named Sunshine, and a brown barn owl that she named Jewel. James got a dark brown owl that he named Torch. Remus got a snow white owl that he named Ice. Sirius got a black owl that he named duel. Lastly, Peter got a white owl with brown spots, which he named Spotty.
When Sam and Mr. Potter came back, they walked back to the Leaky Cauldron and into the Streets of London. They all piled up into the car and started to drive. They dropped Lily off first. When she stepped into the entry foyer of her house she called for a butler to bring her stuff into her room, while she carried Sunshine. When she got into her room, she arranged all her things and put Sunshine in a little basket. She carried him downstairs and ate dinner with her mom and dad; Petunia was at a sleepover. She told them all about Diagon Alley. She slept soundly that night.

The Riddle House, everyone stayed away from it. It was far too creepy for the muggles. Nevertheless, Tom Marvolo Riddle A.K.A. Voldemort, used this as his headquarters. Many people died there, and if you ask me, he liked it. Three people happened to be in ther irght now�

Voldemort pulled up Wormtail�s sleeve and gingerly touched the black mark on Wromtails arm. Almost suddenly a man with bleach blond hair appareted to the Riddle Mansion.
�You called, Master?� he asked.
�Malfoy�� the man whispered.
�Yes master?� asked Malfoy
�It is time that we dispose of that James Potter. He is gaining power, and he will soon go to Hogwarts, where he will become even more powerful. We need to stop him. Do you know anyone of the job?� said Voldemort.
�How about my nephew, Lucius?� suggested Malfoy.
�No, someone with more experience.� Hissed Voldemort.
�What about my daughter Gerri? She is in the same year as James�s older brother.� Suggested Malfoy again.

Gerri woke up in a dark cellar. She shook her head to make sure that she wasn�t dreaming. She wasn�t. Her gaze fell on two doors. She tried to get up, but she found that her hands were in handcuffs that were nailed to the wall. Suddenly the door opened and in walked her father.
�F-Father?� she asked.
Her didn�t reply, but whispered �Let her go.� And the chains fell off.
�Follow me.� He said sternly.
Gerri did as she was told. She knew the consequences if she didn�t obey her father. She didn�t want to even think about it. She followed him into a room with a blazing fire. There was a big chair with something sitting in it.
�Turn me around, Wormtail.� Hissed someone.
Gerri gasped. The person sitting in chair was Voldemort, if you could even call him a person. His eyes were narrow and red, and Gerri couldn�t look at them. She turned her head.
�Ah, Ms. Malfoy.� He hissed. �You shall do as I say, or else.�
�And what is it that I have to do?� asked Gerri, her courage gathering up.
�Your ER, Father will explain that.� He said.
Gerri turned her head towards her father. Her hands were instantly chained up. Her father levitated her into the air and into the room again. He left her chained and started to talk.
�When you arrive at Hogwarts, you are to start dating that Sam Potter. Get close to him. Go to his family gatherings. Get acquainted with his family. Then, on the last day of school bring his younger brother James into the forest. Tell him you have to tell him something. I will be waiting for him. After that, you may leave. Do you understand?� He said.
Gerri just stared at him.
�Good.� He continued. He chained her up again and held the chains. He then appareted back home.
***************************************Lily woke up to the sound of the telephone. She picked it up and said groggily �Hello?�
�Oh, oh, oh! It�s me, Mary. Guess what, me and Annie just got accepted to Hogwarts!� squealed Mary.
�Why don�t you come over my house in, say, ten minutes?� she continued.
Lily looked at her clock. IT WAS ELEVEN-O-CLOCK!!!
�Sure.� Replied Lily.
�See you then.� Said Mary, then she hung up.
Lily groaned. She dragged herself out of bed and into the shower. When she got out she got dressed into black jean shorts, a sky blue spaghetti strap shirt, black slides, and put some sky blue clips in her hair. She went downstairs and ate breakfast. She gathered up Sunshine and yelled
�I�m going to Mary�s!�
Her mom yelled �Okay!� and Lily left. She crossed the street to get to Mary�s house. She rang the doorbell and Mary answered.
�Hi.� They both said at the same time.
�Personal Jinx.� They both said at the same time. They burst out laughing, and proceeded to Mary�s room. Mary was wearing Purple stretchy shorts that said �Angel� on the butt, and a white tank shirt. Her long black hair was pulled up into a ponytail, and her scrunchy was purple.
�Hi Annie.� Said Lily.
�Hi.� Replied Annie.
Annie was wearing a hot-pink sundress and white slides. Her hair was down, but it was pulled to one side.
�So�� said Lily.
�Hey, did you get accepted to Hogwarts?� Annie asked Lily.
�Yup.� She replied.
�We already went to Diagon Alley, what about you?� Mary asked.
�I went yesterday.� Replied Lily.
Lily, Annie, and Mary all talked about what they got in Diagon Alley. Lily found out that Mary had gotten a white kitten that she named flake, and Annie had gotten a brown one that she named Fuzzy. They had both gotten brown owls, and had named theirs Roller and Soar. Lily went to bed that night happy.
***************************************Chapter Four; Platform Nine and three quarters

Lily woke up and dashed to her calendar. TODAY WAS THE DAY SHE WOULD GO TO HOGWARTS!!!!!
She got dressed into a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. She brushed her hair and went downstairs for breakfast. After breakfast her family piled into the car and drove to the train station. Lily�s father got a cart and loaded all her belongings onto it. Lily pulled out her ticket.
�Platform nine and three quarters.� She murmured.
�Let me see.� Said her mother.
Lily handed the ticket to her mother and she analyzed it. She handed the ticket back to Lily and said �let�s wait and see.�
Suddenly Lily spotted that boy James and his friends.
�H-h-how do I get onto the platform?� She puffed.
�Just watch my brother.� He replied.
Lily watched Sam go through the platform. He walked up to it, leaned up against the wall, and suddenly, he was gone. Lily just stared.
�Alright, you four go next.� Said Mrs. Potter, as she pointed to Remus, Sirius, James, and peter. They nodded, and did just what Sam did.
�Alright, now you.� Continued Mrs. Potter.
Lily took a deep breath, walked to the wall, and to her amazement, fell through. She landed with a thud against the floor. �Not bad for a beginner.� She thought in her head.
Annie and Mary were already there, and ran over to her.
"Hey Lily, we claimed seats. Wanna get on the train? It's waaay better than those Muggle ones, y'know?" Annie babbled.
"Hush up, motor mouth!" Mary scolded playfully.
A porter appeared almost out of nowhere and quietly beckoned for Lily to give him her things. She did, and Annie and Mary dragged Lily on board.

Annie and Mary finally let go of Lily�s arm when they reached the compartment. To their surprise, four girls were sitting in it. One girl had mid-length wavy brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a red T-shirt and black leather pants.
�Hi.� She said. �My name is Marnina Oliver.�
�Hi.� Replied Lily, Mary, and Annie in unison.
The second girl also had mid-length brown hair, but hers was strait. She also had green/blue eyes. She was wearing a black three-quarter sleeve shirt and khaki pants.
�Hi, my name�s Katt.� She said. �Well actually, my real name�s Katherine, but I prefer Katt.� She continued.
Again, Lily, Mary, and Annie said �Hi� in unison.
The third girl had shoulder-length brown/red hair. Her eyes were also green/blue. Her shirt was green and her pants were blue. She introduced herself as Liz Radcliffe.
�You probably met my sister, Nicola already.� She said. Lily nodded.
And last but not least, the fourth girl had long dirty-blonde hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. She introduced herself as Christina Daleney.
Lily and her friends sat down with Marnina, Katt, Liz, and Christina. They chatted for a long time, until the compartment door slid open. In walked a girl with long light brown hair. Her eyes were the same color as her hair. She had a shiny badge that said �head girl� pinned to her robes.
�Hello, I�m Zeena. Zeena Colam. I am this years head girl, and I suggest that you put your robes on, we�ll be there soon.� She said.
Lily spoke up �But, we can�t all change in the same room.�
�Oh, of course.� Muttered Zeena. She waved her wand and suddenly a bunch of screens popped up.
�Thanks.� Said Liz.
�Your welcome.� Replied Zeena. With that she walked out of their compartment. Lily then changed into her Hogwarts attire. It consisted of A white blouse, gray vest, gray skirt, white socks, black Mary Janes, and black robes. She pulled half of her hair up. When she was done, she folded up her screen and leaned it up against the wall. She saw that Katt and Marnina were both done changing. Katt�s hair was in two pigtail braids, while Marnina�s was one big braid. A few moments later Liz and Annie stepped out. Annie had her hair in a ponytail at the bottom of the back of her head, while Liz�s had a gray headband in it. The last two to step out were Christina and Mary. Mary�s was in a full ponytail and Christina�s was just plain.
They then gathered up all their pets. Katt had a gold owl and a golden retriever puppy. Marnina A.K.A. Nina had a snow white owl and a black lab puppy. Liz had gotten a Dalmatian and a black owl. Christina had chose a yellow/gold kitten and a brown owl. And of course, Annie and Mary�s pets Flake, Fuzzy, Roller, and Soar.

Everyone agreed. They felt the train lurch to a stop and they all got out. They all climbed into carriages that were pulled by�nothing. Lily just stared in awe.
They All clambered into the carriage and rode in silence. When they reached the castle, they were told to follow a young looking witch named Professor McGonnagal. She was looking very stern, in her pointy black hat. When they reached inside the castle, she started to talk.
�Welcome to Hogwarts. The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory, and spend free time in your house common room.
�The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has it�s own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours.
�Please follow me.� She said, as she opened two gold doors. Inside was a room with five tables. One of the five had what Lily assumed were the teachers. All the first years followed McGonnagal.

McGonnagal rolled up her piece of parchment and walked off the stage. Suddenly an old man stood up. Lily guessed that it was Dumbledore, she had read about him. Whoever it was, he started to talk.
�Welcome! Welcome to a New Year at Hogwarts. Let the feast begin!�
Suddenly all the gold plates filled with food. Turkey, Pork, Roast Beef, chicken, pork chops, lamb chops, sausage, bacon, Steak, potatoes, mashed potatoes, fries, pudding, peas, carrots, string beans, Sweet potatoes, gravy, and ketchup. Lily watched the three boys pile their foods with everything. Lily merely took some turkey, potatoes, gravy, and carrots. Lily decided to ask someone if that man was indeed Dumbledore
�Hey, Sirius, is that Dumbledore?� she asked.
�Uumph.� Sirius said with a mouthful of food.
�He�s trying to say yes.� Explained Remus.
�Oh.� Said Lily, and she continued to eat. After awhile, the dinner disappeared and desserts came up. After Lily had had her fill, her plate magically turned all sparkly and gold again. Dumbledore once again stood up. He cleared his throat. That got everyone�s attention.
�I have a few important announcements before you head up to your dorms. We have a new tree that has been planted. This is not just an ordinary tree. It hits you if you get too close. So I warn you. Also, will first years please note that the Forbidden Forest if off limits. Prefects please lead your students to your house.

And with that, the portrait swung open revealing a big room. There were four squashy red armchairs and a gold fluffy couch. A huge fireplace was cackling and giving the room warmth. There were tons of bookshelves full of all sorts of books. Lily Katt Marnina and Christina, being too tired to explore some more, proceeded to their dormitories. They were gold canopy beds with comfortable looking pillows. Each girl also had a dresser and vanity. They quickly changed into their PJ�S and fell asleep.

Chapter Six-The Halloween Ball Part One

For the next two months, Lily and the gang got to know Hogwarts. They loved all their teachers except for Professor Mochone, the Head of Slytherin house and Potions Professor. Today though, he wasn�t bothering the gang. They were too busy preparing for the Halloween ball next week. They were all so excited. They each had their drawing of their dream dress, and today was the day to hand them in. The girls met up with Annie and Mary. They walked to Professor Flitwicks room in silence. They handed in their drawings and decided to go outside. It was windy, but the girls were very warm in their coats.

�So, who are you going to the ball with.� Asked Annie in her usual hyper way.
The Gryffindor girls just shrugged. Annie babbled on.
�I�m going with Sam Fane, and mary here is going with Charles Dixon.�
Mary�s cheeks turned a bright red, and Lily smiled at her.

After the walk the girls went their separate ways. As soon as the Gryffindor girls stepped into the common room, the boys bombarded them. At the exact same time they all said �Will you go to the ball with me?� The girls nodded their heads, but Katt said, �wait, who asked whom?�
James spoke up. �Well, see, Lucian here (he nodded to a muscular boy with dark brown hair) was asking Christina. Ryan (a boy with blonde/brown hair) was asking Liz. Remus was asking Lily, Sirius was asking Marnina, and I was asking Katt.�
All the girls blushed, giggled, and ran up to their rooms. They were so happy they were crying. They were just asked to go to the ball by the cutest boys in the whole school!

The girls waited and waited for the ball to come. Finally, the day came. Their dresses had arrived just yesterday, and they could hardly wait. Two hours before the dance, the girls put on their dresses. They applied all their makeup and fixed their hair. When they were done, they walked down to the common room to wait. The boys walked down and offered the girls their arms. They took them, and proceeded to the Great Hall. First walked in James and Katt.
Katt was wearing a black sparkly swishy tank dress with a black bell-hoop sweater. She had gold dangling bracelets on her wrist and pumpkin earrings. She had black high heel shoes with an open back. Her eye shadow was clear but sparkly, and she had a touch of red lipstick. She had performed some sort of spell that made her hair all shiny, and then had pulled it into a bun, leaving a few strands hanging down. James had a black suit, and he had obviously tried to tame his hair, but it hadn�t worked. His tie was black with pumpkins on it, and his socks were black and orange stripes.
Next walked in Marnina and Sirius. Marnina was wearing a white satin dress with orange sparkles. She had an orange sweater and a bunch of see through bracelets. Her high heel shoes were orange, and she had candy earrings. She was wearing orange eye shadow and pink lipstick. Her hair was in half up half down. The up part was sleek and smooth, but the down part was all curly. Sirius was wearing an orange suit, which showed the clown that he really is. His hair was (gasp) cut to look more handsome, and it had worked. His tie said Halloween in black letters, and his shoes were also black.
The third couple to walk in was Remus and Lily. She was wearing a tube top dress that was black on the bottom and green on the top. Every now and then there was an orange pumpkin on her dress. She had a green sweater and black high heel shoes. Her red hair was in a bun, but it had a ton of sparkles in it. Her eye shadow was green, and it matched the color of her eyes. Also, she was wearing three muggle charm bracelets and heart earrings. Remus, like James, also had a black suit, but his tie was filled to the tip with orange stars. His hair was neatly combed.
The fourth couple to walk in was Ryan and Liz. Liz was wearing a magenta dress with a sparkly white sweater. Her hair was down, but there were three sparkly white clips in it. She had magenta eye shadow and lipstick. Her shoes were also open back, and they were white. She was wearing a silver bracelet with a heart dangling from it. Her earrings were simple diamond studs, and they looked terrific. Ryan was wearing a gray suit, and he had a black and magenta striped tie to match Liz. His hair was enchanted to shine, and it was working.
The last couple to walk in was Lucian and Christina. Christina�s dress was turquoise, with pumpkins embroidered along the bottom and around the neck. Her shoes were turquoise pumps, and her earrings were turquoise diamonds. Her hair was curled, and it bounced when she walked. She had turquoise eye shadow and red lipstick. A plain gold locket hung around her neck, and inside was a picture of her grandma. Lucian was wearing a khaki suit and black shoes. His hair was brushed neatly, and his black tie said Happy Halloween in gold letters.
Lily and the gang proceeded to a table. On the way they spotted Annie and Mary. Mary was wearing a light purple velvety dress and a matching sweater. Her shoes were white flats, and her earrings were white hoops. Her long dark hair was under some sort of spell; it sparkled every few seconds. She had eye shadow the same color as her eyes, and her lips were natural, she didn�t like lipstick. Her date had a white suit and a black tie and shoes.
Annie, on the other hand, was wearing a blue and gray striped dress, the Ravenclaw colors. Her sweater was blue, and embroidered on it was a raven pecking at a pumpkin. This showed her humorous side. She was wearing blue eye shadow, red lipstick, and blue shoes. Her brown hair was crimped, and three streaks were dyed blue. Her date also sprouted gray and blue.
Suddenly a song by Good Charlotte, a famous wizard and muggle singer started to play. It was called �The Anthem.� All the girls dragged their dates onto the dance floor and started to dance. After the Anthem, Don�t Mess With My Man by Nivea came on,.
By now, everyone was sweating, and no one wanted to dance to a slow song. They all headed back to the tables and decided to eat. Marnina was laughing at something that Sirius said, but before Lily could ask what the joke was, food appeared on James�s plate.
�How�d you do that?� asked Sirius.
�Simple. You just say what you want to eat out loud.� James replied.
Katt was the first one to try it. �I�ll have some turkey, cooked carrots, and mashed potatoes.� She said. Almost instantly, her food appeared on he plate. The rest of the group did the same.
The group went back on the dance floor, but this time they were stuck with a slow song. The boys didn�t chicken out this time, and they asked the girls to dance. It was �Picture� by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. The teens danced slowly to the country music.
After that song, everyone was glad that song was over, they were all so nervous. A faster song came up, and everyone started banging their hips together, because Sirius told them to. He said it goes well with the song. Everyone thought he was being goofy. Oh, yeah, the song was �All I have,� and it was by Jennifer Lopez and L.L. Cool J.

The song ended, and the group continued to dance, in fact, they danced until midnight. At exactly twelve-o clock, the music stopped, and everyone knew that that was the signal to leave. Lily said bye to Annie and Mary, and proceeded back to the common room. On the way, she saw Gerri Malfoy/Evans with Sam, James�s older brother. They looked like a couple of young lovebirds. Lily giggled at the thought and walked up to her dormitory. She put on her PJ�s and fell into a deep sleep.
