"Hermione!" shouted Harry. She jumped. It was the end of potions and she dicovered that she had been staring at the back of Malfoy's head.
"Let's go!" said Harry. "Okay, okay" Hermione, Ron and Harry left for lunch.

"Hermione, aren't you hungry?" asked Ron.
"No" said Hermione. She was deep in thought. Debating wether she liked Malfoy or not. He was cute and tall. Wasn't as emotional as Harry and Ron. Plus, she has been having dreams of him. Hermione knew that opposite personalities attract. Could it be deja vu? What was it?
Meanwhile Malfoy was thinking the same thing only about Hermione. He knew that when somebody likes to insult another it's just coverup for actually liking them.
Interrupted from their own thoughts, lunch ended and they went to their next class.

It was 7:00 and dinner had just ended. All gryffindors that were staying went up to their dormitory. Harry, Ron and Hermione were talking about the homework the teachers had given them over christmas break. Hermione, unusually silent.
"Um...Hermione Can I speak to you alone?" asked Harry nervously.
"Oh! Sure" said Hermione. She and Harry went to a corner in the common room.
"You've been acting strange all day,' started Harry 'Are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
"okay, but if you want to tell Ron and me anything feel free to. Tell me if we did anything....okay?"
"yeah..." said Hermione. She and Harry went back and joined Ron in talking about ways to curse Snape.

Ron and Harry retired to the boy's dormitory by 9:00.
"She said she's fine, but I think she lying.' said Harry to Ron as they got ready for bed, 'she's got a crush on somebody and is confused about. Remember the expression I had last year about Ginny?"
"Oh Yeah..." answered Ron in a "wow" sort of tone.
"I don't know who it is, but I'm going to find out." said Harry turning out the light and finally going to sleep.
Meanwhile, in the girls dormitory, Hermione was writing in her journal.
Friday Dec. 20
Today wasn't at all a bad day. Something wierd happened I caught myself staring at Draco Malfoy and I think he was staring back. Not in his usual stare. But a kind one. I think I like him. I don't want to include the boys because they're boys. I might tell Ginny, she's my friend. Does malfoy have a soft spot for me? I hope the boys dont catch on. Good Night.
Hermione closed her journal and went to sleep.

Hermmione awoke the next day and decided to go for a walk. She also wanted to write. So she brought her journal with her. The common room was empty.
Saturday Dec. 21
I wake up this morning feeling as if I had been stared at in romance, but that was just a dream. I thought I felt a presence by my bed late last night but...I don't know it doesn't matter. The sunrise is bautiful. Colors blending into eachother and it is so beautiful and metaphoric I could cry.
"God Morning Hermione!" said Harry and Ron as thy walked towards her. She slid her journal back under her cloak.
"How are you today?" asked Harry
"Fine thank you"
"What are you doing?" asked Ron.
"I just decided to go for a walk you know" answerd Hermione and hastily got up. What she didn't know was that she left her journal behind.

"I just wanna see something"said Harry. They had picked up Hermione's journal and took it up to the boy's dormitory. He opened it and read aloud:

"Harry, as good as it sounds we'll need to give it back to her." said Ron
"Shut up Ron you sound like Hermione!,' Harry teased. Ron squeaked at the very thought of this. 'don't worry I'll give it to her, I wanna talk to her again"

Harry spotted Hermione in the common room after lunch.
"Hermione, would you like to take a walk around the lake?"
"sure..." said Hermione, she seemed on the verge of tears. She and Harry chatted about things until they were at the farthest part of the lake from the school.
"Harry, do you know where my journal is?" asked Hermione "I lost it.."
"Here"said Harry handing Hermione her journal. She looked surprised.
"You didn't look......"
"I'm not going to lie to you Hermione,' said Harry 'why didn't you tell Ron and Me?, I can help you get him." Hermione smiled.
"But how..?" she asked as if she was wishing that she didn't think that she didn't have hope.
"A makeover" said Harry and they walked back to the castle grounds.
***************************** Hermione thought it odd for Harry to be interested in this kind of thing, even when the boy she liked was his enemy. She accepted all the same. At the same time questions flooded Hermione's head. What if it doesn't work? what if they do it wrong? Do they know what to do?
"Harry?, do you know exactly what you're doing?"asked Hermione.
"Kind of..." answered Harry. Hermione knew that boys don't know anything about makeovers.
"Harry..." asked Hermione
"yes..."
"exactly how are going to do it, I mean you don't know anything about makeovers"
"Of course I don't,' said Harry 'but Cho Chang does, she's visiting tommorrow"
Harry and Cho had been dating since the summer before Harry's 6th year. This made Hermione a bit more hopeful, especially seeing Cho again who was both nice and pretty.

Harry, Hermione and Ron all climbed staircases and went through secrets doors until they found themselves in a small circular room. There was no pictures in here. There was a desk in the middle occupied by...
"Cho! it's great to see you again!" exclaimed Hermione.
"It's nice to see you too,' said Cho. 'now today is the first meeting, you know to lay out and all, she did agree right?" sid Cho nodding at Harry.
"Yep." said Harry
"It will take a series of spells,' she continued 'but I'm sure we can do it. We need a plan to have Draco confess things about Hermione.." With that they all huddled in deep thought thinking of a way to trick Malfoy into confessing.
And Then by 7:oo that night they came up with a plan. They all went down to dinner, ready to put the plan into action that very next day.

"Okay! phase 1 dobby gets the veritaserum. GO!" said Cho. Dobby left. "2nd phase, Harry, Ron GO!" Harry and Ron ran upstairs to get the invisibility cloak. Everything was timed before Malfoy had his first cup of pumpkin juice.

"come on Draco tell us who do you like?" pleaded Crabbe.
"I like Hermione Granger. She is beautiful. If I could fix her I'd straighten her hair. put some make up on her. yeah." he finished. Harry and Ron left.
