What is it?

The Treasure Chest is a single page, double-sided mini-paper, distributed throughout the Central Massachusetts neighborhoods of Westborough, Worcester & Shrewsbury.

While there aren’t many crafts shows in this area, we do have people who love hand-made, quality designs from independent artisans and craftspeople.

Most of these people have some kind of access to the internet, and therefore, access to YOU.

In this day and age of high tech, it’s easy to forget that the best way to get the message out is simple, straight and to the point. So there will be no fancy articles, no D.I.Y. plugs, so frills, just ads, kind of like a moving bulletin board.

How much does it cost?

For ads there will be three sizes available:

2” x 2” - $2.50

1” x 3.5” - $2.50

2” X 3.5” - $3.00

These are horizontal sizes, but you can make them veriticle if you want.

For now the distribution runs will be 150 copies.

The ad prices are listed above. Think of it as getting 150 business cards/promos for the cost of your ad.

What should I include in my ad?

Your promo should contain the following in any combination:

Company Name
Website URL(s), for those of us with multiples.
phone number OR email (however you want to be contacted)

Of course a visual of your work: your avatar, your logo, or a picture that you feel best represents your work.

How many pictures can I send?

As many as you want. I’ll pick the “best” one and run with that.

The best thing to use for size concept is a business card, if you have it. You can even scan and use that as your promo if you like. If you're not technologically savvy, you can send me the information and a picture of your favorite item, and I'll create the promo for you. You can also use a business card; I can re-size and work with that.

How many ads can I buy?

As many as you want. This will be an ongoing thing, so if you want to purchase ads for consecutive months, that would be fine.

Is there a discount for multiple ads?

If you buy four ads, you’ll get one free.

Can I get a copy for my area?

Those who send me a promo will get a copy of the paper in return. If you want to copy it and distribute it where you live, no problem! The more the merrier.

Why are you doing this?

Because I know how hard it is for us Indies to get our name out there. Not all of us can attend every craft fair; not all of us can afford tons of business cards and promos to send for swaps (although I do that too… more about that on another page). I have a place where I can print color copies on the cheap and I want to offer what I can to all of us to make sure we all get “face time”.
