About Me
Neil Miller -
Born May 15, 1980, a native southern Illinoisan. I have been rockin since I was in a car seat. I started playing guitar when I was eleven, and can't make myself stop. I have always been innovative. I repair and build instruments, amp, and FX. I started finding ways to record with cassettes, from there I kept evolving. I learned electronics in high school, winning awards in state competition. After Jr. college I moved to Murfreesboro, TN to go to MTSU for music business. After six months I couldn't afford school and moved to Carbondale Il. At SIUC I studied in Radio/Television with a specialization in audio, and a minor in business. There I learned to use Macs and ProTools, and ran with it. I had an undergraduate assistantship in the audio lab, and learned about studio wiring, studio and computer maintenance. I have a job at local studio Misunderstudio, repairing equipment and running sessions. In Feb. 2004 I started Live Sound Studio.
