Front Of House Mixer - Monitor Dude - System Tech
Pro Audio Journalist - ProSoundWeb Forum & Chat Moderator

I have added the obligatory webpage that lists some of the artists I have worked with.
| Journalism I write for a traditional "dead tree" publication called Live Sound! International as well as a large pro audio website called ProSoundWeb that receives millions of hits each month. I was writing an ongoing series of articles called "Sound Advice" for Signalfading.com. Signalfading was a web community that promoted local original music. Like so many other things that focus more on art than money, Signalfading no longer exists. Here are links to a few articles I have published online. |
| Earthworks Mics & Grand Pianos | |
| David Lee of Rhino Acoustics | E&W Poweramp Review |
LiveSound! International's 2003 Editorial Archives contains my article on the Community T-Class Loudspeakers. This article appeared in the May 2003 issue of the magazine. The 2004 Archive is now online. There you can find a few more articles I wrote, including one on the PA installation at CBGB, a report on the lovely Rane G4 4-channel gate, and one about a few of my favorite old microphones.

Audio Stuff I still do free-lance work as a mixer and/or
tech for a number of large & small audio providers in the northeast
corner of the U.S., as well as directly for a number of bands & artists.
These bands range from regional "party bands" that play cover tunes to some very talented original bands walking the fine line between fame and obscurity. I also enjoy the occasional gig with world class jazz artists like John Coates Jr. and his pals over at Pacific St. Records, as well as gigs like doing monitors for Regis Philbin and Michael Amante backed by a 26 piece orchestra at the State Theatre in Easton, PA., and the Labor Day 2004 reopening of The Mountain Laurel Center in The Poconos.
