The Page of Beatle Essays

These are just some random ramblings about the Beatles that I've written down over the years. It isn't much of a collection yet, with just two, but look for more to appear here in the future.

Here's what I have to offer:

"A Matter of Balance" -- Many people listen to the songs of the Beatles and love them without really wondering why they are so appealing. This essay probes the reasons why the Lennon/McCartney songwriting team was so successful.

"The Eighth of December: Reflections" -- Whenever the date December 8 is mentioned, many fans go teary-eyed. As this date nears again, marking the eighteenth anniversary of John's death, I have written down some of my thoughts on the great musician and songwriter.
