Equal 1st in the 3k was Melissa Ronan who ran an excellent time of 11:28 in a close finish with a
14 year old male athlete. A number of Harriers were then involved with two very good young athletes from Southport and Waterloo for the minor places, 26 seconds covering the next nine athletes home including Michelle Mousley, Helen Nelson, Samantha Mallen and Sarah Atherton
In the 5k race Hannah Beard was the first lady home in 23:05, a good time for the longer distance, other good performances were achieved by both Ashley and James Blackburn who finished in 24:20. Results
