Bazza's prediction & opinion for this season

I believe that we will fight out the title with Man United and Arsenal once again, but if we manage to get Cisse alongside with current signings Kewell and Finnan, we will take out the crown for a record 19th time.

Xavier's prediction & opinion for this season

Right after the Chelsea loss at Stamford Bridge match last season, I decided for my faith in Houllier to be ended by a deadline, If he doesn't buy Duff Or Kewell, or any proven world class midfielder by July 31, 2003 I will no longer have faith in him.

Well, Well, he managed to yet Kewell for a bargain price under controversial circumstances. We have a new attacking wingback in Irishman Steve Finnan, well done again to the Frenchman.
This season I think we can manage a Champion's league spot, if the players are really hungry and determined, then number 19 is just around the corner. It could be make or break for Houllier. We have the starting 11 to Win the League, but yet to have the depth like the 2001/2002 season where we had Litmanen, McAllister and Anelka. The Starting 11 won't always be healthy and therefore unavailable for many matches. A few more world class signings maybe Djibril Ciise, and I hope another world class signing when the transfer window opens back up January, will almost complete the job, plus the addition of attacking football would be nice from Mr Houllier.  The horror of the 2002/03 season needs be recognise as only a minor stumble, and an improvement for this season 2003/04 is imminent.

Its also very possible that we have the team to make that familar trip to Cardiff in the League Cup and FA Cup.

I look forward to the revenge Matches with Chelsea (the opening match of the season at Anfield) and Manchester United, which the clash at Anfield is on the night of my birthday (November 8), I will spending this night at Cheers Sports Bar, singing my head off and giving those muppet Manure 'fans' an earache. I hope we drill the scum both at Anfield and at the Theatre of Japanese with cameras.

In other matters I hope the presence of Kewell doesn't start a Australian's jumping on the Liverpool bandwagon. They should piss off!

You'll Never Walk Alone.
