When did you start supporting Liverpool FC?
Since I was a toddler and the first time touched a radio (see below).
Why do you support Liverpool FC?
Just like a book about Liverpool FC is titled "The Triumphs, the
tradegies, and the tarnished image." Supporting Liverpool will give every
single emotion and situation of life, eg trying to live up to past expectation(s).
There was the Spion Kop, which is the birth of singing/chanting in
football and modern day sport. One day when I was a toddler I was fiddling with
the radio, until I heard this strange yet wonderful singing which was infact the
Kop - A Liverpool match being broadcasted by the BBC. I didnt know it was
football at the time, until I saw on the television on ABC that I heard the
singing and the commentator saying the same player's name again. From
that moment on it became everything for me.
We
also had the inspiration of the Scotsman named Bill Shankly "...a bastion
of invincibility..." his idea was and it became reality under him and Bob
Paisley, and also under the bootroom. Theres the fight for injustice about the
tradegy of Hillsborough, and yet shows another example of never walking alone.
Hearing You'll Never Walk Alone before the match and a few minutes before the
end (if were winning) makes me cry yet inspired and puts me into a state of
euphoria.

Heysel and Hillsborough in Liverpool's history are far more important than all those trophies put together, it is what made Liverpool fans and Liverpool FC completely different to others. It taught us to never walk alone. Liverpool is the reason why God gave us Life.
