Family is first and foremost in my life, without it, there is no reason for existance. All though my mother, my brothers family and myself are currently spread around the country, we keep our ties close. My mom was one of those single mothers who raised two boys, and worked to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. While growing up I didn't understand what that really meant, but now being on my own, I understand the sacrafics she made and the stregnth she had. She did what she could, and she did a damn good job.I hope I make her proud and let her know it was all worth it. |

My immediate family was always relatively small, and we always had just enough to get by. When I think back to family gatherings, we were always with the Estevez family. They were my family's guardian angels. They took care of us in so many ways. They would invite us into their house to share the holidays with them, when things didn't go so well for my mom, they were always there. They may not be blood related to me, but I consider them my immediate family and would do anything for them. My family owes them a debt of gratitude we could never pay back. |

Immediate family provides the first role models in your life, they are who you learn from and who you develop your base from. You come to a point in your life where you need more, you need to expand your horizons and you look to other people. These two guys have been my role models, they have helped to push me faster and farther then I thought I could go. They always challenge me to be better, to think, and to make sure I am always on my toes. I have shared many growth experiences with them and am glad they brought me into to their circle. One word...respect. |

I could never say enough about Terry, Bonnie and Gina. They were the first people outside of my immediate family to have a major impact on my life, on who I became as a person. They showed me a world outside of the sheltered life I lived. We shared many of our school years together. I am forever thankful for all they did for me and would still be there for them in a heartbeat if I could help them. I know they will do well in their lives, thank you is not enough from me. |

Jennifer was another who had an impact on my life. She brought so much out of me and altered the way I thought. There was so much about her that was attractive, her intelligence, along with her smile and other facial experssions, her great family. She has the potential to make a great impact on the world. She is a strong women, and has been able to bring herself back from things that would have made anyone give up on life. She is a women worth watching out for in the next few years. No matter what path she chooses, she will be a leader in it. |

Marina broke an emotional shell on me years ago. We both have moved on with our lives, yet remain friends for over 10 yrs. She is my last connection with my past and knows me well.
