| Don't settle for less than you might become. You are as Great as any human who has ever lived here before you. Don't fear your own Greatness. Remind yourself that you can become anything you choose, and the greatness is yours for taking if you really want it. If not you, then who? ----- Dr. Wayne W Dyer Prologue Dear Reader, Please imagine this scene. Your natural instinct wants you to be Great. Listening to your soul you can very clearly see the Great You standing a distance apart. You can see him living the life you want, very happily. You want to manifest the Great You in the real world, consequently you move towards him. But wait, there's a wide and deep chasm between you and the Great You. You ignore this gape and make a leap ahead felling down at the abyss of life. Now the challenge has enhanced hundred folds, as the next obvious task is to regain the height you had. You are afraid by this Herculean task and start living at the abyss, blaming every possible thing, but you. I apologize if I sounded a bit pessimistic; My intention is not to underestimate you. But don't you agree it sounds familiar. We all have our Greatness waiting to be manifested. Deep down our soul we all know that we have the talent and power to manifest the Great Us in the real world. But, What happens? Ignoring all the limitless power within all of us, we take the simplest leap ahead, by being inactive. Yes, being inactive is also an action. When you don't take the action, what are you doing? you are taking the action of being inactive. Remember talent is useless if it is not coupled with craftsmanship. Consequently, we become a failure and start living a mediocre life blaming every possible thing, but us. Once again, coming back to the scene to be imagined. This time imagine, knowing the presence of chasm you applied the endless power within you. You took the leap ahead by utilizing the astronomical power within you. No wonder, you start bridging the gape. The point, which I am conveying using a metaphor, is not something new, but an age-old wisdom. If you admire someone, who has achieved the acme of life, drill his/her life, and you will discover (s)he applied the vast power within himself/herself and manifested the Greatness waiting to be explored inside him/her. Sometimes, the governing factors seems so colossal that we might wonder, How exactly to build this bridge and what are the resources required.This book is written to answer these and similar questions which are flooded in your life. Although, each principle would be discussed at great length in subsequent pages, let us take a very brief tour. First, your bridge is made of timeless unchanged Principles. Second, your bridge is made entirely by hard work. Remember, you can not shrink your way to greatness. On any journy to keep track of the distance we have moved, we need milestones. So, last but not least, I have formulated four gateways, which need to be build and crossed on your bridge. These gatewys will keep track of the distance you have moved. Let me make it very clear, This is an action book. Each page would challenge you to raise the standard of your life. But if you just read and think, hey buddy! you write great, and do nothing; I say we wasted our time. And I'll consider my effort futile as far as you are concerned. On the other hand, if you mull over the principles discussed and challenge yourself to apply them, you are headed straight for Greatness. I have presented this book as if we are engaged in private conversation. From now on we'll be togethar for the time you'll spend reading this book. And my sole purpose would be to assist you in bridging the chasm so as to manifest the Great You in the real world. You have only one life, make it a Masterpiece.
